Perfect
I figured since I have purchased this twice, it was time to rave about it. We are Hollandaise lovers. Making it from scratch can be costly and iffy to make sure you get it right. Enter McCormicks package Hollandaise Sauce. Butter, cold water and a package make it quick and delicious. I like a little more lemon flavor, so I add some fresh lemon juice at the end. Stir it in well, and you are ready to serve. I let it sit for about 15 minutes to come together completely. Over asparagus or Eggs Benedict and you have the perfect pairing. Not bad on lamb chops either. While it may seem pricey to buy such a big box, it doesn’t go bad or to waste. At your finger tips when you need it.

Best Tasting Hollandaise Sauce Ive Ever Had
I’ve been looking for this brand of instant Holland Sauce for ages bit it seemed to disappear from the grocery stores I frequent. I had given up all hope of finding it when I thought -Amazon! I was so excited to find it. It’s super easy and takes less than 5 min to prepare buts tastes like you spent a long time in preparation. I drizzle over steamed broccoli or make my own version of Eggs Benedict for super popular breakfast. It tastes fresh and delicious with just enough lemon to add a little kick to whatever I use it for. You can keep a couple of packets in your cabinet when you want to add a little oomph to your dinner with little cost. I really love this product.

Great flavor
I’v tried several packaged hollandaise sauces mixes and if you prefer a subtle lemony flavor, this is the one. It’s fine as is, but the mild flavor makes it ideal for adding your own spices.

Hollandaise at Home!
The cafe around the corner from me lacks consistency in their poached eggs. Sometimes it's perfect, sometimes it's raw, sometimes it's basically boiled. Enough! Now I can make eggs benedict at home myself for a fraction of the price.I got these packets as a secondary to making it myself (which I haven't tried, but seems to be a fair effort for early morning eggs) The instructions and process are incredibly easy. Half a stick of butter (!), one cup of water, and the powder mix. It will seem thin at first but it thickens up rather quickly, and you can always adjust for this based on the amount of water you put in. Just whisk constantly and a nice thick sauce will develop. Is it as good as made from scratch? Obviously no. But it comes reasonably close. Maybe it was in the whisking, but sometimes I notice a little bit of a powdery consistency to it but it still has decent flavor and because of the incredible ease of making this stuff, it is hard not to like. Though one packet will far exceed the use on two eggs benedict... you can save the rest, but to state the obvious it won't be as good reheated.
