My kitchen has dark green walls and I'd like to put this wallpaper over it. Will the green show through?

It absolutely will not! This paper is thick and fabulous ! I put mine over dark brown.

Is there beige/tan tones in the wallpaper?

I disagree. The back ground is mostly a creamy beige white with a lot of beige undertones (along with gray).
