Skylanders Giants Battlepack #1 - Chop Chop - Dragonfire Cannon - Shroomboom

This is an add on Battle Pack to the Skylander Giants game. It comes with two characters: Chop Chop, and Shroomboom, along with a Silver Cannon as the "magic item". The characters are not one of the dominant Giants, but can still be used in the game. The Battle Pack is used for a new battle arena within the game.The Silver Cannon is the magic item that you place on the portal. It gives you 45 seconds of time for each level of play. It will follow your characters around, and shoots at your enemies. The cannon helps when you are fighting in boss battles, and also unlocks a new PVP battle area. The cannon can only be used in the Skylander's Giants game.Shroomboom is a Life element character. He shoots mushrooms with his slingshot. As you level him up, he will be able to use new abilities to make him stronger. I like how he shoots the mushrooms and can make a defensive ring of mushrooms to slow down the enemies. He's a cute character. Shroomboom can only be used in the Skylander's Giants game.Chop Chop is an "Undead" character. He carries a sword and shield. and as you upgrade him he has better protective defense shield abilities.He is one of my favorite characters.You can use Chop Chop in Spyro's Adventures, and the Skylander's Giants.

It was stapled shut since the glue had disintegrated over the last decade. It was brand new still, I just though that was funny and it gave me pause to think about how long it has been since these guys have been on store shelves

I resisted jumping on the Skylanders bandwagon as long as possible. I found the idea of buying a $70 game and then additional money to access all the areas to be utterly ridiculous. When my son received Skylanders Giants for his birthday, however, I finally gave in buying him this set and a Whirlwind figure.PROS:-the price is cheaper than you will find at your local store-it's a diverse pack with:-two figures with different types allowing access to more areas in the game-a weapon that pops up and follows the player around helping for a few seconds at a timeCONS:-it arrived with the cardboard in the back damaged-the sword broke off of Chop Chop the second dayMy son does not play with his Skylanders like toys because I knew that if the base broke they would no longer work in the game. When he isn't playing with the game, they go up on a shelf out of reach. When using it, he simply would pick Chop Chop up by his upraised sword and place him on the portal and pick him up again to take him off to play another character. He was not rough. He did not squish it or bend it, which implies to me that I must have received a figure with a defect. With the package damaged as well though, I am not sure. It still works in the game though, so I have not bothered asking for a replacement. We have not tried using the codes yet, so I don't know if it was a return. Overall though, everything works.

This pack infuses chop chop, Shroomboom, and the dragonfire cannon. Shroomboom's main attack is his slingshotting. His secondary attack is his mushroom ring. His third attack is flying spores. Shroomboom's soul gem is in time of the giants. The soul gem makes him turn into a self slingshot.Chop Chop is way better then Shroomboom. He has an epic sword, a sheild, and a bone attack. Chop Chop's sheild can stay up for a very long time. It can smash enemies swiftly. He can regain health if he kills an enemy.The cannon shoots at enemies for about 45 seconds. It is epic. I recommend this to all skylander fans.

It felt amazing to get the skylanders don’t get me wrong but to see the package half way ripped open on the bottom and the packaging for the skylanders cracked was disappointingBut the skylanders did come in mint condition nothing broke off of them nothing they were perfect

I buy these Skylanders characters for my 6 year old daughter. She absolutely loves being able to play with them like action figures AND put them on screen to play in the game. If you have the portal pack then this is a good addition to the series. The only thing that is a draw back is that many new characters are coming in these three packs and include a new character and an old character. So if you are like me and have already bought all of the original series then it's kind of frustrating to spend the extra on a character you already have. The upside is that the new character does come with some upgrades of sorts and I have a second older daughter that also loves the game so having two saves an argument sometimes.

This is a good deal. Cheaper than buying both individually - Chop Chop (series 2) and Shroom Boom. We have series 1 Chop Chop and this one has more maximum hit points in Skylander Giants as well as the ability to switch is upgrade path. Series 1 will not let you do this. Chop Chop is an awesome character but Shroom Boom is only so so, but I haven't maxed his ability yet. Overall, excellent game - unfortunately it can get quite expensive buying all the characters.

I had one very disappointed 8 year old on Christmas. While his brother and sister had a list a mile long, all he wanted were Skylander Giants. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that these weren't truely GIANTS. Even more disappointing is that we cannot even get 2 out of 3 of them to work. Apparently he has an older version of "Chop Chop" so he is able to use that. But when you put the other two on the portal, you get a message that says "Please take the toys off of the portal." Having ordered this item over 30 days (and saved it for Christmas), I am having trouble contacting the seller to provide feedback.
