Physical Therapist Assistant Exam 1st Edition

Good study book for the PTA exam. Gives good review of each test category and lots of practice questions. Good book to test your knowledge. Beware a few typos, nothing too major. I would use this as a supplemental study book. There are no pictures, which is HUGE for me. PT is a very visually demanding field, understanding how something appears is half the battle sometimes. I would recommend scorebuilders or one of the other similar books. This is a great study book for the price though and would make a great supplement or last resort study book.

I passed the exam. I used Giles, Osullivan, and this book. Giles is not complete and neither is this one. .they both should be used as supplements. The best and most thorough is Osullivan ..but it can be overkill. .. This book . .like the Giles is a good supplement and it provides with 3 set of practice questions which i think is great ..the more exams you take the better. Also has an online exam which never exprires and is free as well. my advice . don't use Giles or this book alone. pair it up with Osullivan. My ultimate advise ...the PTA career is getting tough ... .saturated field. Jobs are tough . .pay is going down ...Don't let professors feed you BS. Don't bother with it ..save your money and time . .study something else . .physicians assistant is a good field now.

the book is ok but to used the code is a headache, and you can only use once, as soon as you assess the test you have to do it, I close and try to get in again to finish another exam, and I couldn't because they states that I already redeem that code, so you can only used once, try to call customer service, phone just rings and rings, Don't buy it for the prep test only, but if just want to read...Don't recommend!!

Great book, helped me pass the exam.

The exam book was very helpful when it came to studying for the PTA exam even though it had a few errors in it and should have been reviewed before publishing. I got the book for the online exam and it failed to meet expectations for example the test was not 200 questions. Also there was the lack of information on the score report for the online test, I was hoping it would have given me some indication to what subjects that I am strong in and what needs more review, and study time so I can gear my time accordingly.
