Nice quality, easy to put on.

I've owned my Olympus 40-150 2.8 pro for quite a few years now, and have (luckily) not been stricken with the often mentioned and commented on, lens hood blow up!I thought, I should set my original hood aside, for safe keeping, and replace it with a simple and completely functional after market model..This JJC LH-78II is the perfect choice.. Solid, reversible, AND, a hella lot less expensive.. Note, I didn't say cheaper..Things do not have to be cheap, just because they cost less...This is a quality JJC product, as have all the JJC products I have purchased in the past...Yes, some need a little trimming here, or a bit of smoothing out there, but all in all, hard to beat..PS: As I said earlier, I'm putting the original away, before it breaks.. Just in case I want to sell the lens it some day.. ;-)

I bought this primarily for the price, and it's well worth it. It costs a fraction of the price of the OEM lens hood and fits and functions exactly the same. I would definitely buy it again...

I’ve tried other off brand products that didn’t fit at all but this one is not one of those! It snaps right on my 135mm lens with no problem and pops back off as well. It’s reversible so it can be stored on the lens as well.

The cost was the primary motivator for the purchase. Spent $60+ for two Olympus brand lens and both of them broke and could not be repaired. This was about $10 and accomplishes the same purpose. A little challenging to put on the lens, but I have now become accustomed to it and now don't have that issue

This item fits my Canon 180mm 3.5L macro lens perfectly. Nice and snug. Seems very sturdy. You can reverse mount it for when you store the lens away. Has soft felt-like inside liner to help with lens flare. Highly recommended and better than the rubberized lens hood that the lens came with by a mile and a half.

Purchased to replace my Olympus 40-150 hood. It "fits" but is flimsy and doesn't lock into place in either orientation. Thankfully the Olympus new 100-400 hood LH-76D fits perfectly.

Better than the original since it doesn’t have the felt inside (what was Canon thinking).

Broke original sliding lens hood and replaced with this cheaper replacement. It did the intended job, but I was not happy with the fit (a little loose) and installation was a little tricky.Eventually ended up buying the OEM sliding lens shade again (Olympus 40-150 f2.8) and happy that I did.

Original hood for Olympus 40-150mm Pro is AUD$99,this for $12.90 was a bargain,fits perfectly.
