HeadphoneMate Replacement Connection Cable For Bose QuietComfort 3 QC 3 Headphones

I love using my Bose headset when taking a long flight and on a flight to Europe, I got up abruptly to let the passenger next to me out of the isle without removing the the headset or the cable from the plug. The prong in the cable got bent in the process and broke off. I was just sick knowing that I would not have the luxury of my noise canceling head set for the 14-hr flight home. I learned my lesson too--remove cable prong from plug when you have to stand up! Living on a rural island I wasn't sure where to find the replacement for the broken cable before my next trip this year and was thrilled to find a cable on Amazon! Not only a perfect replacement, but the seller, Ron, the perfect seller. He communicated several times via email to assure my product arrived. I am so happy to find a cable that is a perfect fit for my Bose headset! It works perfectly!

I received my order promptly and the cable worked perfectly for several months. Then, for some unknown reason, it just stopped working correctly. Higher pitched sounds (voices) became muffled. I don't know what happened, it's possible that it could have been my fault or a design issue.Not sure what to do, I contacted the company by email (they included their contact info on the bag for the cable). I received an almost immediate reply from Ron. No questions asked and no charge -- He shipped a new cable today and asked only that I forward the damaged cable to the manufacturer. That's simply terrific customer service!

Not OEM, not as listed on picture, different product, it is not L shaped, the connector is straight, which I think tends to wear out more easily, my L shaped one lasted 3 years, hopefully this straight one holds up just as long, otherwise I will change my review to 3 stars. Audio quality difference is not noticeable, so don't worry about that.

This Vendor has been the most customer focused i have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. They have refused to be beaten when my order was returned by the US Post Office . they resent again and continued to keep me updated. Nothing and I mean Nothing has been too much trouble. This was exactly what I needed for my Bose QC3 headphone. I bought an item from another company, as their photo looked exactly right, but the ends were too big. The item from Ron's Electronic Sales was exactly what I needed.

Left original cord on a plane, this replacement is exactly like the original cord, recommend your purchasing one of these replacement cords.

The cable works, but is not as pictured. The 1/8" headphone jack has a 3rd black ring, making devices like smartphones think it is a microphone/headset combo. Still works ok, but I have to unplug it before answering any calls if I'm listening to music on my phone.
