Nice bins. Not heavy duty though. Hubby says they are a 3 review on sturdiness, not a 5. The containers could break easy but it is what we wanted, this size. Plus, same quality at the This has been in my storage unit that I pay monthly fee's for, that is how I can list EXTREMELY RARE ITEMS, THAT HAVE NEW WITH TAGS ON THEM. Thank you for understanding ;). So far so great that USA Made has a great product. I am using them for planting seeds. Bought 2 sets of 12. Instead of storing shoes in these 9" high storage containers. I have found a different purpose. I drills 8 large holes in the bottom of the container fill with 6" of dirt. I use the lid of container under neath to catch excess water. Fits perfectly on my six foot metal shelves with grow lights tied on to the under side of each shelf, using nylon string. I use to use zip ties. But since the zip ties are so cheaply made now aday. Zip tie broke almost damaging my grow light. Glad I had a back up with nylon string having wire running through the string. Hope this helps someone.

These are decently priced bins. I have purchased Iris bins of various sizes and find them to be perfectly accurate. Unfortunately my latest order of 28qt bins contained two broken bins. The plastic at the rim was shattered and pieces left in the bottom of the shipping box - though the shipping box was undamaged. I would order these bins again though I am annoyed that it looks like I’d have to return the entire order to get replacements for the broken items. I could be incorrect in this though - it is unclear from the return/refund menu.

If you want sturdy containers, look elsewhere. I had three pieces (one container, two lids) broken on delivery despite the shipping box being intact. The breakage in all cases compromises the product's ability to stack and bear weight. In the case of the tub portion, the corner was broken up. A piece of the corner broke clean off and was found in the shipping box, so it did appear to happen in transit. Oddly, it was a middle packed tub not an edge one that sustained this damage. That's not where I'd expect damage to occur from shipping - so do make sure you check each tub and lid on arrival. The lids all broke along mid areas with supporting design structures. If even the supporting design can't handle light stress (like shipping gentle enough that the box was unharmed), I don't know that it could have held any weight at all to be honest. The fact that it broke where it was reinforced is not confidence inspiring. All in all, a very disappointing product. There was no padding or other protection in the shipping box, and even with limited room to move it still managed to render 1/3 of the containers basically useless for stackable storage purposes. I don't recommend this product at all, and I say that as someone who LOVES Iris containers in general. Truly my most disappointing buy from this brand to date.

These are nice & very clear, but also very thin & flimsy. The lids do not seal all the way around but only lightly close even on the sides. I bought them for my Preschool classroom & I had one out on the floor during an activity, a 4-year old tripped over it & it cracked all the way through….i would not have bought these if I saw them in person especially since there is. O seal or locking method for the top.

Easy to use, this was the second purchase of these, like the first and have worked out great. Sturdy and easy to use. Used for storing sewing supplies and material. Like being able to easily see what is inside, used in conjunction with a storage shelf. Lids lock on tight but are easy to remove. Have used for a few months now and have held up well. Like the purchase.

I replaced my big oversized and difficult to move large bins for these more practical sized ones. Can fit a lot in and they are still easy to lift and move. Easy to identify what’s inside also. And they stack easily. (A must have size for older folks to manage!)

I use these clear containers for many things. In my basement, they hold all the small bits of stuff I can never find (such as wall hangers, felt pads, guitar tuning devices, and so on). In my games room, they hold all the bits and pieces for various games in one clearly-labelled container for each game (dice, tokens, carboard pieces, expansion sets all end up in a container). In my office they hold all the miscellaneous stuff that never seems to have a home. I label the boxes with Dymo tape, and stack them on shelves or in a closet, and finding stuff has become so much easier! These boxes won't hold great weight, but they are fine for most things. Great if you need to organize life's clutter.

Ces bacs sont arrivés en excellent état, aucun de brisé. De plus, il y a un couvercle de trop (13 au lieu de 12). Le tout était super bien emballé : dans une boîte et la boîte dans une autre boîte! Cette fois-ci le livreur me l'a montée au 2e étage (ce ne fut pas le cas la dernière fois pour une autre commande!). Je n'ai pas essayé tous les couvercles, mais ceux que j'ai regardés font très bien sur les bacs et se clipsent bien. Format super pratique et la transparence l'est tout autant. J'aime voir à travers pour ne pas être obligée de les ouvrir pour chercher ce dont j'ai besoin. On peut les mettre un par-dessus l'autre, ce qui est parfait pour sauver de l'espace. Ces bacs semblent bien faits, le plastique est assez épais. Pas la plus grande qualité, mais tout de même assez solides pour y ranger un tas de choses. Je vais m'en servir principalement pour mes articles de tricot (laine, aiguilles, etc.) et autre matériel d'artisanat. Si on y fait bien attention, ils devraient durer très longtemps. Très contente de mon achat, je les recommande.

The lids don't lock, they don't stack very well, they're flimsy and not very durable. One lid was missing to begin with and I've already cracked two containers with normal use. I bought two sets and I'd return them all if I didn't miss the return window by a few days.

These bins are really sturdy and a nice size to organize things. I use them in my classroom to organize my teaching supplies, I love how they are clear and I can see easily through them!

It's an okay bin. One arrived broken. Not for heavy duty use but still sturdy.
