The most critical piece broke - for many purchasers
I have had the same problem many other reviewers have: the plastic clip that holds the umbrella open / under tension at the top broke off within the first half dozen uses. I either have to figure out how to manually insert it like a few reviewers mentioned, or fashion an alternative stopper/clip because the manufacturer will not help beyond 30 days. Everything else about this umbrella is fabulous, the one thing absolutely necessary to opening the Umbrella repeatedly fails. Don’t buy this until they fix it.
