This peppermint oil was actually bought to help keep mice out of our basement and garage. After some little critter bit through wires on my car and cost me $900 I decided it was time for action without cruelty. I had this same peppermint oil in a smaller bottle that I used in a part of our basement where a little guy used to sneak in to get warm but I ran out. This peppermint oil works the best and when I found this larger bottle at this price I grabbed it. It has been very effective in that the cute little invaders have not been back to nest in my engine. I just drop some oil on a cotton ball, place it in a small container, and slip it under the car or in a basement corner. It not only deters the mice but also gives off a nice fragrance we can appreciate.

The scent is strong but not overwhelming, this oil would be more enjoyable if it held an even stronger scent (personal preference) The oil does “not” have the famed oily feel to it however it is indeed flammable, an indicator used to verify oils. (It still doesn’t ensure quality) This bottle was delivered yesterday, so far it’s been used to spray bedding and added to body wash, it will also be employed as a wool ball fragrance in the dryer. This oil is as far as I can tell; essential oil, and it is eucalyptus.Effectiveness: My breathing is calm and even, as it would be with any other eucalyptus oil I have used in the past. The fragrance has held moderately well in a musty apartment, and I plan to reapply when needed. I have moved partial contents of the oil from the amber bottle to a translucent purple spray bottle which I will store in a dark location.Order packaging: was a bit shotty for being a glass bottle with a glass eye dropper. I would highly recommend some sort of loose material or other means of support such as those little air bags to aid in safe transport. Glass being tossed around could pose safety risks to recipients.The bottle: typical oil bottle decent composition and decent coloring.The cap: the cap was secured with a plastic perforated seal that has been heated for a form fit. the lid also has a plastic insert which was unsecured to the inside of the cap, while this is not an issue in any way it may be cumbersome for those whom lack the acute dexterity to remove from the bottle, in addition to un-twisting the cap. *Resolution -> making the insert form fit and snap to the lid or using those foam inserts with the silver backing from the nineties.Eye dropper: can replace the cap the bottle comes with if desired or stored separately.Shelf life: the indicated expiration date provides a great shelf life expectancy, and leaving half of the oil content in the bottle we will see if this “oil” stands by that.Conclusion: not the best oil I’ve ever had, I’m used to my grandmothers hippy dippy oil that can knock you back from unscrewing the cap. the fragrance is not as sharp as I am used to, it does seem a bit dull. (Personal preference) But for $10 per 4oz it’s a satisfactory product. Just be aware it’s not “gold standard” it’s a run of the mill essential oil.I’ve posted a few pictures and included some reference objects. Enjoy! Smells soo good.

I've always loved the smell of frankincense and I was looking for an essential oil to pair with a bottle of Neem oil I bought (because I don't wanna smell like an Italian restaurant if I haven't been eating Italian food lately) and this was just perfect. It has a heady, spicy aroma and it's very strong so a little bit goes a long way. But it becomes an amazing-scented moisturizer and hair/scalp oil when mixed with a carrier like fractionated coconut oil. Definitely will buy again.Edit: I was going to leave a separate review for the cedar oil, totally forgetting that it's treated as the same product by Amazon! 😁 Either way, the same stands for that, it smells just like a cedar chest my mother owns 😍.

Highly recommend this peppermint oil. I have tried many, but this brand seems to be the most pure. It takes just a few drops. The smell is incredible. The best size bottle at a good price. Absolutely love!

I like it, it feels pure when I apply on my scalp because of the tingling sensation and the aroma. So far so good for my hair thinning. I recommend it and I hope they continue making a good quality product. I will continue buying it.

Smells incredible! I enjoyed the peppermint oil initially until I ordered the lavender oil. I ended up purchasing 3 bottles total because it smells so good. It also worked even better for my house plants. Keeps gnats and other insects away. I highly recommend.

YES. This is real Basil. I make candles and this has been a big hit. Love this oil
