it's Somewhat spicy.....low to medium I'd say. it's designed to be mixed with something else that's not spicy--like cheese. it provides a decent amount of heat for that purpose. now, if you're going to eat this by itself it may be plenty hot. I've never done that so I wouldn't know. I usually use it to make chIle con queso. I also add jalapeños to that dish to give it a real kick. without the jalapeños it would be just ok in terms of heat. hope that helps!

I cannot speak for other sellers but if you consider the fees for FBA and original costs then the price actually leaves the seller a profit of spare change. The convenience of fast shipping from Amazon and home delivery are not free. I hope this answers your question.

I definitely did not pay $8 for the can. I think you may be looking at multiple cans, but it sometimes only reflects one (10oz) in the picture. I went back and looked and I paid $.85 so it's either a typo or you're going to be making a lot of queso!
