NOt what I expected
Cannot get it to load on my MAC - cannot identify with keyboard - cannot find any customer support. It beeps when it connects and when a programmed NFC tag is tapped/near but it will not read and link on computer. NFC card is programmed to go to a website.

Acts as a keyboard input
Reader works great, but acts like a keyboard input, generating an 8 digit hexadecimal string. I am trying to use this with a Ubiquity system, and it is not directly compatible, as Ubiquity does not accept keyboard input - they want you to use a $300 reader. However the keyboard input can be used to populate a CSV file, which Ubiquity will import. So there is a workaround to get this to work with Ubiquity for a whole lot less than their reader.

Simple with no drivers
This unit is simple, requires no drivers and basically emulates a keyboard. I do think the NFC reader range could be a bit larger but for the price it works great.

This reads cards by acting like a keyboard. Open Notepad in windows and it scans/displays card id
Spent an hour trying to find software, contacted seller and nothing! "Seller said it's just a reader" that did not help at all! a youtube video showed a guy scanning a fob using windows notepad lol.. I felt dumb to say the least. It works fine for scanning Mifare cards to get the ID
