The Hull Truth: Chronicles of a Cruise Ship Crew Member (Book Two) Paperback – December 12, 2014

I really liked the first book so I thought I'd try the second. It was good enough but seemed like a really long preview for the third book. I didn't appreciate the "plugs" for the third book, it seemed very amateur for someone who has written many books. I hoped to read more about art auctions but I guess that is in the third book.

I thought Book One was an eye opener. When Joshua's girlfriend comes aboard, there's a whole new dynamic to crew life. Especially when the management you're supposed to be able to count on fails you time and time again.Again, Mr. Kinser weaves his tales in a way that made it really difficult for me to stop reading. I always needed to know, what happens next?You won't regret reading the continuing saga.James Hofheins

I really liked reading this book. Crew members really need our help in providing better living conditions. They work very long hours. Joshua tells how hard it is to live below the water line of a cruise ship.I would read another one of his books!

I found this light hearted book to be ok, decent story, and I could have done without the author's all too many long winded analogies to whatever he was writing about. He would write about a situation that happened, then the next 5 minutes he's writing attempted humorous quips about said situation. I could have done without the quips. I think if you removed them all this book would have been 50% shorter.Nice enough story though, I thought it ended quite abruptly, but probably because to get you to purchase the next book.

Easy read but constant references to other books he has written is really annoying, taking 10% of the 3rd book referencing 2nd book!

Great insight to the inner workings on a cruise ship. The quarters of the crew suprised me thought they would be bettrer- no suites mindyou - but the adventiures were amazing.!

Mildly amusing. Factually accurate I presume but there was nothing to make a lasting impression. It used up a couple of hours.

Fun read but not as good as the other books
