Over priced
Kit doesn't contain some type of bar needed for screws to pull the half moon adapter against the pulley. Better buy if kit contained all the parts needed for the job.

Makes the job fairly easy, but you need these other tools...
I purchased this "tool" as it was significantly cheaper and available sooner than the OTC set (7483A) recommended elsewhere. It has the necessary parts for grabbing the back side of the water pump pulley, but lacks the "H"-shaped piece to bolt on the front and actually pull the pulley off of the camshaft. OTC has a part number for this separately, 7245, but it's also fairly expensive. You can get the necessary part through the major parts stores' tool rental programs (free)--what you need is a steering wheel puller rental, e.g. 67011 from O'Reilly. Also, for some inexplicable reason, the nut used for pulling the pulley back onto the camshaft is round on the outside. Spare yourself the hassle, and buy a 1/2-20 nut from the local hardware store and use that instead. Thread the shaft included with this kit into the camshaft with the spacer and that nut on the larger threads. Once threaded into the camshaft, tighten the nut and the pulley will slide right back on.

defective as shipped
The special nut for pressing the pully back on the camshaft was missing. There is a threaded sleeve (without flats for a wrench) included without any way to tighten that sleeve except with a pipe wrench or other type tool. Because of that I have managed to make this tool usable after dismissing the threaded sleve and adding a 1/2" 20 thread per inch standard American nut in place of the threaded sleeve. I have at this time not put the tool to the test but believe it will be just fine. Oh yes, for those curious, the threads in the end of the camshaft according to my measurements are M8 X 1.25.

Not a complete “set”
The tool worked ok, just make sure you really read through and understand for removal you will need to supply your own “H bar” and for installation you will need to throw away the round nut and go buy a 1/2-20 nut and use a 1/2” drive 18mm socket and then slip on the collar. Thread the 8-1.25 end into the camshaft, the collar will butt up to the pulley face, the 18mm will sit inside the collar and the 1/2-20 will be what you use to press t he pulley on. All those issues are clearly presented in the picture and I just didn’t pay enough attention. Hope that helps

Tool recieved mostly ok reviews.
I understand why the Tool received bad reviews, most of the people buying the Tool has no engineering background of understanding, and that's where the problem is. Take it from an retired Master Machinist Engineer. Have a professional Welder or Machinist weld on an 1/2 x 20 NFT nut on the driver and Machine the weld for the clean one piece look.Thank you, Corey Brown.

No forcing nut hex???
As others have mentioned, I also see some issues. I mainly purchased the tool to get the half round piece to remove the water pump pulley without damage. You will need to provide your own steering wheel type puller to use with this adaptor - I knew that going in. However, the pulley installer has a forcing nut that fits inside of a collar, but it doesn't have a hex to grab on with a wrench. How are you supposed to turn the forcing nut? I ended up welding an old lug nut onto the forcing screw to give me something to turn. Then it requires modifying the case to fit the tool back in. Did someone not test this tool out?

This tools works extremely well
The only issue with the tools is that there are no instructions. But even without those, it does not take more 5 minutes to figure out how t remove and install the pulley. There is no need to weld anything! It works great as designed.

Works great
Works perfectly with any standard steering wheel/balancer puller (which is required for this version of the tool). A lot of people stress out about the round nut but I was able to grab it, unmodified, and turn it easily with a small pipe wrench. The pulley came off (a very rusty shaft) perfectly in about 30 seconds.
