So I originally paid a guy $100 to fix my broken screen and he wouldn’t guarantee it. His repair left the iPad inoperable as it would ghost type and make all sorts of screen selections without touching it. After having my iPad sit for a year as a paper weight I decided to try and fix it myself.The screen screen came with everything I needed to replace the old one. The tape strips are pre cut, the tools were more than adequate for the one time use they may see, and the screen works great. The instructions were a little lacking in some techniques that needed to be performed.The installation was a bit stressful, having never done one before. The hardest part was placing the home button on the new glass. In the end the button ended up being a little loose in its mount but works fine. Next time I’ll be better at it.If your a handy person and ok with the risk of making a mistake (destroying your device), this is a good option for you.

This was easy to install, it took about an hour because the previous screen was shattered pretty bad. This was my first time replacing an Ipad screen. I added some extra glue because the adhesion tape wasn't sticking in some spots. This screen did appear to be thinner than the original and it cracked within the first week after installation. Ipad is in a lifeproof case, has been dropped twice since installation, and is completely shattered again.

I was able to replace a shattered screen with this. The shattered screen was tough to remove, but the installation of the new screen was a breeze. I would only recommend that the adhesive be a bit stronger, but so far it is holding up.

Everything was working fine for about 2 weeks. Then the screen got possessed. It starts tapping stuff on it's own. Has even erased some markups . This happens regularly and with many different apps. So I cannot use the tablet for in case it starts acting up I wont loose any markups. Thank God I'm able to work from my phone. But I'm sure I got a deflected digitizer.

My sister broke her iPad and we thought we would've had to pay for a screen replacement but the prices were over 150. We bought this one and my dad put it on in no time. It looks original and she loves it.

Excellent product at the beginning but after a few weeks some problems started to appear as the screen was not any more tactile in some areas... had to replace it by another one! You should pass...

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The upper left corner of touch screen doesn’t work. I only tested part of it before stick it on iPad. Now I cannot remove it easily and my iPad has a defective touch on it.
