Simply put, in the last 5 years we went from zero mosquitoes to not being able to go out in our back yard without being assaulted. Inevitably that leads to mosquitoes entering the house. We do our best to not keep the doors open too long, but there's always a few that make their way in.Last week my patience finally expired, so I got a 2-pack of these babies. Today, after I heard one buzzing around my ear, I finally opened the Amazon box, angrily ripped the package open, slapped those 2 batteries in, took 2 seconds to figure out how it works, then proceeded to the last know area where I was buzzed. Not a second later; there was one of them, hovering above my laptop. A second after that; CLICK! Mosquito no mo.No need to swipe hard or fast. Just a gentle, playful wave in the general area of the intruder while holding down the power button, and electricity resolves the issues with a celebratory CLICK! and occasional SPARK! to accent the win. The results are instant, the satisfaction is intoxicating.If you're like us and don't appreciate sharing your living area with these wonderful creatures; I highly suggest trying these out. So far these things have worked out great.

Overall, it does do what the description says it does. Having said that, it's not for swatting insects on the table, etc. because it can be broken. It's for placing on an insect and zapping it. You might get lucky and swat one in the air but it's more fun than practical. You can zap slow-moving insects like spiders, beetles, mosquitoes, etc. but flies are to fast for it.

Dislike the folding part. Other than that one of the best swatters on the market.

I like how these are telescoping so I can reach items. Dislike that the head doesn't stay in place. As I move it the head wants to fold; this makes it harder to use when something is flying around - you can't wave this in the air. This was a package of two and one didn't work.

The head folds onto the handle in the package but I found it unusable when you try to swat a bug. I ended up cementing it in place.The batteries were corroded when we received the item.

This zapper is great for killing spiders and insects. It extends so it will easily reach anything on the ceiling. I like it so much that I've bought 5 of them just in case they get discontinued some day.

The folding handle a plus, but it can slip. No positive lock to maintain an angle.The mesh of the zapper is too large, many mosquitoes fly right through unharmed. It needs a mesh of 1/8 inch, not almost a half inch gap.The power button is awkward to hold in, and my hand slips off it, so I waste my time and NO bugs get zapped until I realize my grip slipped. Lock on the kill button, or give it a click on. A power light near the kill head would alert the user his hand slipped off the kill button.So, an improved design, but poorly implemented. I can reach more mosquitoes, but takes a big effort to kill most of them as they fly through its essentially gaping holes. I almost kill as many dragging the frame over mosquitoes to don't fly away. And scare away the rest of them. I want corpses, not laughing mosquitoes.
