I like this book. My friend and I enjoy playing duets for recorder and guitar.The easy arrangements allow us to feel competent to play the music, which allows us to relax and enjoy the playing.

These arrangements are very well done and true to the originals. They are easily playable on both recorder and guitar.

The copy that I have is not helpful for the alto recorder because none of the tunes goes below a Middle C (Alto goes down to the F below Middle C). Also some tunes have notes going up to the high B. The tunes are written for soprano recorder instead. Also, the person who plays guitar with me plays by the way that we are used to, where the letter of the chord is printed above the music. In this book the guitar part is written out on music script and they didn't print the chord letters at all, so she can't play it that way.
