McDavid Two Pack Swim Supporter

In the past little while I have tried various types and materials of men’s underwear after I decided that I didn’t have to worry about what others thought of my underwear and the tighty whitiey type brief was increasing uncomfortable. I tried this manufacturers regular jock and found as far as support goes its pretty good it reminded me why I didn’t like boxers as it goes back to my early teen years when as a right of passage or so it seemed you would go from white briefs to boxers but because the offered no support or concealment when young hormones cause certain items to pop up it seemed that always happened when the teacher would call on me I’m trying to half stand half crouch to conceal the “problem” so I started to wear a jock under my boxers. I always liked jocks and other minimal underwear but trying to fit in I didn’t wear them until I was a little older. Anyway I found them to be very supportive and of all men’s underwear the jock is the quintessential men’s underwear. What’s not to like about a jock they are minimal they support well. The regular jock was black and I found that it was over all comfortable but the wide waist band had its problems kind of stiff and not really soft against the skin no matter how many times I washed them it was also hard to pull down the front to do my business without completely undoing my jeans. I decided to try this one as well as another brand of a more traditional style ive tried fashion jocks bikini low rise bikini various trunks and boxers.With this jock I like how it supports how it looks but the waist band kind of chafes a little as it doesn’t get soft. Even though I’ll probably continue to wear these and it’s regular wider waistband brother they will be for the gym and not daily wearSo these are more supportive and less daily wear I do like the look as I said takes me back when you first started becoming a man from a boy

Over time, I find that I have generally replaced regular underwear with jock straps. I just purchased six of the McDavid jocks with the one inch waist band that I had often used for weight training. I find myself getting into a lot of outdoor activity even in the winter here in northwest Wisconsin. There is probably more strenuous activity outdoors right now with snow-blowing, roof clearing and a little snow shoeing once the snow is right. I used to wear regular underwear when working outside in the winter, but found I ended up with sweaty and clingy underwear that turned cold and uncomfortable. I always liked wearing jocks and soon I found my regular underwear abandoned! I particularly like jocks with 3 inch waistbands, and I had not had those with the one inch waistbands for some time. I received six of the McDavids swimmer jockstraps yesterday and I can honestly say they are well made and the one I have on right now is comfortable and almost unnoticeable. The pouch is more than adequate. The width of the pouch is perfect and the depth of the pouch supports well without having a lot of material bunching up. Jocks usually fit even better after the first couple of washes and I'm sure these new jocks will supply what I need. Jocks are also very comfortable to sleep in. So, get rid of your regular underwear and start wearing a good jock instead. You will never go back.

I do not like the wide bands on most supporters as they tend to curl up on me, which is uncomfortable. So I have always worn swim supporters, even though I haven't gone swimming in years. I wear them while lifting weights. The only two things that really matter about a supporter is if it supports and if it lasts. These supporters give plenty of support. I ordered them in May 2014, and they are still in fine condition in October, even after weekly use and washing. So I am giving them five stars.

I was looking forward to trying out a swimmer strap, as I like the stretchiness of a traditional pouch but wanted to try a thinner waistband. I wear 34" jeans and ordered the large. I still had red marks on my waist after wearing the first day. The pouch, too, is small and barely contains everything. Scratchy too. Hoping a few washes indeed stretch it out as mentioned in another negative review. I'm at the low end of the Large sizing guidelines and expected a bit more give.

My urologist recommended that I wear a supporter for a hydrocele testis. This is a great jock with a great fit and it's very comfortable to wear all day. I've never worn a swim supporter prior to this and was pleasantly surprised how well it fit. More comfortable than the traditional jock with a wide waist band. The family jewels have recovered and I continue to wear this jock as underwear.

Super streamline waistband and back straps fit well. The pouch is pretty snug and pretty much presses everything down which I guess means it’s doing its job. Just feels super small and doesn’t compare to the contoured support of the old Bike and Flarico brands. Was a little embarrassed putting it on the first time at the gym because the pouch was cut small. Hoping repeated use and washing will soften up the pouch.

This jock is purposely low cut, so it will be on your hips not waist. For me, 28/29 waist, I have boney hips, so I sized up to a medium, the waistband doesn't dig into my hips, so they are comfortable long term. If you need a super supportive pouch, I would not size up. It's a trade-off depending on your needs.

ok I know jockstraps and I know how they should fit. I like the style on these but the pouch is way to bulky. NOT to big, but to bulky! they fit in the waist and the straps are fine. The problem is there is just way to much netting in the pouch. it goes way back behind instead of cupping and lifting your junk it just kind of synches things back towards your ass.
