Cobalt Blue EZ Cap Bottles-16 oz.-Case of 12-Caps Included

Solid glass, packaged well. The deep cobalt color is eyecatching and every piece of this bottle is very high quality. I have used, reused and sanitized several times without issue. It can be really hard to find the right quality of item when looking at an avalanche of search results but you cannot go wrong with these. They were worth every penny.

Made a second purchase. I use them for tinctures. Directions needed to place on stoppers. I had to take off several and redo but bottles and stoppers are well made.

Bottles are great. I love the color and the caps fit well, just don't sanitize them in a dishwasher as the dishwasher detergent corrodes the metal pretty severely, but I should have tried just one first. Fortunately the caps and wires can be ordered separately.

I had hesitated purchasing these bottles as there was no review and because the price for 12 bottles was actually less than the price for one bottle of a more notable brand of sumular bottles. I only needed one bottle, plus all i could find was 33oz when purchasing one bottle which i didn't need. So decided to give these a try.. First, the seal is tight. No leakage at all. The cobalt blue glass is true throughout the glass itself and not a coating over clear glass, as some reviewers of simular (more expensive) glass has found to be a problem. The packaging was outstanding. A padded box within a box.. No breakage as nothing could shake around in shipping. I highly recommend these glasses, even if you are only looking for one glass.. The other single glasses i found were 33oz. which i didn't need and those bottles according to reviews were of are of far lesser quality than 12 of these glasses. If you're on the fence about these, i'd say give it a shot. I can't see where you'd be disappointed, even if you only need one glass.. Also these glasses are easy to attach the stopper, and again the seal is tight. Exceptional bottles if you ask me, lol..

These things are great. The blue is actually more attractive & pleasing to the eye than the brown bottles and a little easier to see into during the filling process. Forget using recycled store bought kombucha bottles, it's just not worth it. We almost never got a good seal using recycled bottles, nor any real carbonation. With the swing tops, we've never had a bad seal yet. My kombucha foams like a frothy beer now, every bottle, every time. Turns out, yes, there are in fact tricks to getting good carbonation with recycled wide mouth bottles, but these blue bottles just produce a better product and I have never regretted the expense of a few dozen.

These make some of the fizziest kombucha ever! Most secondary ferments take three days or more to get nice and fizzy. Mine has been getting fizzy now in one day. I'm running out of room in my fridge because I can't keep up with how fast my kombucha is fermenting. Burping the bottles has become essential because I simply can't put all the fizzy kombucha in the fridge, there's just too much of it! It's a good problem to have.The caps don't arrive on the bottles. They were pretty easy to put on. My boyfriend and I knocked the case of bottles out in a few minutes. The lids are hard to put on and press down the first few times. I couldn't do it alone the first round and had to call in a pair of stronger hands for some help. But it's getting easier as we use them more.The blue color is gorgeous. However, if I do end up buying more grolsch bottles I'll definitely go for a more transparent color. These are really pretty but the blue is very dark so it's really hard to see inside the bottles. I never used to label my kombucha because we knew what bottle was what flavor based on the color. We now have to label them. Which isn't a big problem. The bigger problem is filling them. I constantly over or under fill the bottles because it's sooo hard to see inside while I'm pouring (oh, also the OXO Good Grips 3-Piece Funnel and Strainer Set that's recommended DOESN'T fit inside the necks of these bottles). I have perfect vision and it's still hard for me to see. My boyfriend wears glasses and has an even harder time filling them. I have to do it in full day light in front of the window practically so I can get some light to shine through. Plus, I'm also worried about not getting the bottles clean inside after each use. Since I can't see inside I have no idea if all the yeast and bacteria and baby scobys get out while washing them. I use a special brush, but still, it worries me since any sort of contaminant fermented can make you really really really sick.I'd say if you have some sort of system where seeing inside the bottles isn't an issue for you then by all means get these. They were easy to assemble, they're very pretty, and your kombucha is going to be very fizzy. If you don't have a foolproof way to clean and fill them then I'd recommend getting clear bottles, or a color that's not as dark.

The item was exactly what I was expecting. Look exactly like the picture and it comes with the tops. Fits perfectly for my home brewing needs.The main reason why I gave this 5 stars was the service. Amazing. I had ordered the case of 12 a week before Christmas time, but there were a few issues delivering the package. NOT THEIR FAULT, completely UPS's fault. I had emailed them and they were not only quick to respond but very understanding of the situation. The 2nd time they sent it to me, UPS sent it back again. Katie, from Home Brew, emailed me saying that the received my package again but it seemed like some of the bottles were broken. She went ahead and replaced them for me and sent it back with out any additional charge. I was very thankful of all that they did to help me.

Sturdy glass and great swing lids. My kombucha builds up lots of fermentation pressure and these bottles haven’t failed. Clear glass would make it easier to gauge how full the bottle is but dark glass is better for the bucha

The bottles are great but unfortunately one arrived broken.
