Excellent quick connect fitting!
Quick connect fittings are a item of wonder. Installation is a breeze and supports good water pressure and keeping the lines sealed as intended. THe stainless steel body adds excellent durability to corrosion! Worth a buy!

Corrosion resistant and tough fitting
I use these fittings in a laboratory where we frequently make and reset connections between vessels. We pump mildly acidic and basic solutions at about 100F through plastic tubes. The fittings have not leaked or corroded. The thread quality is good, we tapped each vessel (PVC) and installed the fittings without issue or leaks.

Threads leaked, MUST TEFLON TAPE FIRST
I used three of these for my air horn, one from my tank (leaked) to the my solenoid in (leaked) out of solenoid (leaked) to horn. They leaked out of the threads not the push in area. I had to take it completely apart to put teflon tape on the threads and reinstall everything all over again which this time there were no leaks. The thread sealant on these fittings DO NOT WORK and I don't care how tonight you make them, I just about stripped out the brand new solenoid trying to stop the leak which would not happen.***BEFORE YOU INSTALL THEM, TEFLON TAPE THE THREADS!*** Then they are good

Useless!
I should have read more of the bad reviews because one person said the threads were straight and not NPT, THEY WERE CORRECT! you will be really lucky if you install these in anything and not have them leak. Grr, I am so sick of Amazon selling items with crap descriptions. I have a dozen things I would have sent back but it would have cost me just as much to return them as the time I would waste and the distance I would have to travel to drop them for UPS.
