Great picks

I ordered these thumb picks for my daughter. She doesn't usually use a pick because she says it's hard to hold on to after a while and she ends up dropping it, or it flies or of her hand. She loves these and they fit her thumb perfectly. She has larger hands than most women, her thumb is probably a size 9 or 10, and this fits her perfectly. It doesn't produce the same loudness as a regular pick, but definitely sounds great. The quality is very good and my daughter loves these.

Good quality. Size runs small. The large size is a little tight on my small size thumb.

I've order a few sets of Jim Dunlap brand picks. With my fat fingers, sometimes even the large picks don't fit, but these can be easily resized by dropping them in a cup of hot water (not scalding) and form shaped to your thumb, then cool water run over them while you are wearing it. Important note: Do not put the pick in a cup of water and then into the microwave. The logo is foil and will spark and burn if microwaved, heat the water separately and then drop the pick into. Make sure neither is too hot to cause burns before trying to resize to fit your own thumb. On that note, I've worn these out from many hours of playing, but so far I've not broken a single one. I would guess if you try to force a fit on your own fat thumb without warming them it could be done, but they usually will just cut off the blood supply if too tight.

Large is very small (barely fits my pinky finger comfortably). I have large hands, and wear large size gloves - but just large - not gigantic. These thumb-picks aren't even in the ballpark of large. They are small, at best - as if made for pre-teen hands. Quality seems good (thus a 3star) - just useless to me due to misleading size markings.

Delivered quickly. Thumb picks work well and I like them a lot. Do order a size larger than you would usually. I normally use a medium but based on reviews bought these in a large and glad I did! On most picks the blade is longer than I like so I filed these down a bit and with the adjustment, they should work great!

After playing guitar for many years I recently got interested in the Chet Atkins style of playing so after a little research on Amazon decided on these Dunlop thumb picks to try to learn his style. I have a kind of flat and wide thumb and I ordered the large size. Turned out it is a perfect fit and very comfortable! I'm having fun learning with these.🎸

I ordered the large and it’s very tight, some fire will open it up. It will work out, I will get used to it. After all everything is adjustable.

Nice picks. I only use a thumb pick occasionally, finger picks are available. If you’re unsure what size to buy, the packs only contain two or three picks, just buy the larger or smaller size. I’m a bloke with fairly large hands but I reckon many people will get away with the large (L) size having given these thumb picks to a couple of lady ukulele players in our club. Two To get them to fit correctly, boil some water and drop the pick(s) in. Half a minute to a minute is all that’s required. Fish the pick out of the hot water with a utensil (fork or spoon) and place on a towel, tissue paper or kitchen towel so that there isn’t any water on the pick to scald you. Quickly place the pick on your thumb while it’s still hot and malleable so that it stretches to fit your thumb. As the pick cools it will stiffen and retain the shape and size of your thumb. If it needs further adjustment, repeat the hot water process as often as required.

Nunca pongo opiniones.Pero en esta ocasión lo he de hacer, por que hacía mucho que buscaba una pua de pulgar que fuese buena rasgando y punteando la guitarra acustica.... El la mejor pua que he encontrado por que es larga pero no demasiado, es dura pero no demasiado, y la pala no es muy ancha.Me vá mejor que otra Dumlop blanca que tengo. Yo tengo el dedo pequeño y no me aprieta, por lo que entiendo que un dedo medio irá bien. Lo dicho, gran pua para rasgar y puntear
