My conventional nail clippers were no use when I was trying to cut my big toe nails so I had a scout around and found these which are ideal. They are very well made, easy to grip and operate and are very sharp. They cut the tough hard nails on my big toes very easily and they even come with a small nail file which is quite rough and takes off any sharp edges so the nails dont snag my socks! One niggle however...they come in a small cloth bag which fits inside a small tin box which is also supplied but trying to fit them in is very fiddly so I ditched the box and just use the bag to store them. Other than that, this is a very good set of clippers and I would highly recommend them.

Great clippers. Really wide jaws and cuts very nicely. I thought they were perhaps a bit expensive for nail clippers but they are much better than previous ones.

These are brilliant, strong and sharp, and great for thick coarse toenails.!

I love the design and build of these clippers. Far easier to depress the handle than the standard clipper variety…and therin lies the rub for me.I have accidentally cut my toes as well as nails. So now only use it for my fingernails which are easier to see.The little nail file is very handy, and the metal tin is excellent for keeping the set in, as well as collecting nails for the bin. In fact I use the bottom of tin for keeping earphones in beside my bed, and the clippers in the lid. I really appreciate the lovely design, and I’m sure if you had more flexibility and better eyesight it would do an excellent job on the toes. Well done designer!

These clippers are exactly what I wanted. Firstly they are decent length and easy to hold. Secondly the jaw of the clippers is extra wide in terms of getting a thicker nail inside it. Perfect. However, that perfection is a double edged sword. Probably like a lot of people buying these, I find cutting my toe nails very difficult (for me, it's due to arthritis). Also toe nail cutting somehow seems to fall into that range of too near for your distance glasses but too far for your reading glasses, so wielding a sharp cutting implement while half blind is not an easy task (or even a sensible one but hey ho, needs must). I now have 2 plasters on one foot and a few nails that are now a bit too low. The more restricted clippers at least prevent you from accidentally snipping more than you meant to. That said, my one thicker toe nail was a snip. Brilliant. Perhaps though, I need to use my more restricted clippers for my other nails and just get this clipper out for the thicker nail. Hopefully less blood that way. 🙄So yes, great clippers but care needed if using them yourself. Ideally a friend giving you a pedicure would be the optimal choice. 😁

I bought these for myself, until the wife used them for her nail business, I had to buy a second pair as they are excellent sturdy bit of kit and really sharp and cut thick toenails with ease highly recommended

I was fed up with little finnicky finger-nail clippers, so I thought what is available for a bit more money? I came across these and I have to say they are exceptionally good. The extra length of the 'arms' means a better power at the cutting edge. They are frighteningly sharp and because they need hardly any effort to use, you really must make sure of the amount of nail you intend to cut. A larger radius at the cutting edge means less splitting of the nail - often the case with smaller-radius blade clippers. Beautifully elegant material and clever spring action, all enclosed in a tin case. Can't recommend highly enough.
