Mk Audio PC4-100RD 4 Gauge Spool Multi-Strand 100 Feet Power Wire Cable (Red)

Like all the other low cost wires that claim to be 4 gauge wire you find on line, this is not 4 AWG wire. I have a some 6 AWG wire to compare this to, it appears to be slightly thicker (5.5 maybe). It is made in China and It is also a copper clad wire. The center is silver in color (Aluminum I assume). I expected all of this when this when I purchased it.. If really need 4 AWG wire, this is probably not for you. I am using this to connect some solar panels and it should pass the DC current for this project without breaking the bank.

Generic Brand Cable, but usable to an extend.-Generic cable, not copper, but copper-clad, meaning is aluminum cover in copper coating.Not true 4 gauge. more like 6 gauge. Looks nice and tick but thats just the insulation.-If you're running a good system in your car, I suggest not cheapping out on the power wire and go with a name brand power wire.More money on name brand wires, but you get what you pay for.-If your running a budget system this wire should be more than enough for something like that.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I look at this spoil and think to myself “god that’s a lot of wire” I’ll find a use for it hopefully in this lifetime. Well worth it

I read the reviews and saw that it was not actually 4 gauge wire, but i also didn't need 4 gauge. I needed wire in the 6-8 gauge range, which this is. I bought this for adding ground wires to the stereo systems in mine and my brothers cars. Since we don't have massive systems and were on a budget, this wire was perfect for our application. If you purchase this product knowing what it really is then you will be satisfied. If you really need 4 AWG wire then you'll have to look elsewhere and spend a little more money.

How can they sell " 4 gauge wire" as 4 gauge wire when we have wire standards in the industry? Here's how, the wire is labeled "4 gauge" without the AWG (American Wire Gauge) printed on the wire which is what the US uses as it's standard in the industry. I ordered this garbage wire and after taking a closer look and researching it out I realized what I just explained to you. If you really need 4 gauge AWG wire then don't buy this crap you may burn your car, house or other project to the ground!

This is complete false advertising! It is 8gauge wire, not 4. I feel ripped off. I won't buy from this seller again.
