Just buy the damn bags…..
I was more than a little skeptical about traveling with bottles of bourbon from California to Alabama in a checked bag, but dammit if these bags didn't work like a champ.I arrived to the airport in plenty of time to watch the whole process of my luggage make its way to the plane. Some of the gentleman definitely used the opportunity to take out some aggression. It was hot as hell outside so get it, and I probably would have ignored the Fragile sticker on my bag also.Long story short, the bottles made it, the bags did the job, and I will recommend them to others. All my wine survived.
I was able to transport all of my wine stash from Oregon safely back home. Super easy to fill! It's a better price than having bottles shipped. Also can be repressed to portable flower vases.
