DERAILLEUR HANGER WHMFG#266

Came just as the picture showed and matched the part number, lined right up to replace the broken one on my bike!

This includes 2 screws that are same thread as the originals but much shorter. The originals had blue thread sealant on them but the new ones didn't so I decided to reuse the original screws. This hanger must be different somehow because when screwed in, the ends of the screws protruded past the edge of the hanger and interfered with the QR axle. Once I realized what was going on I just used some blue threadlocker and used the new screws instead. They catch but only by a few threads, they are much shorter than the originals and if they were taking any weight whatsoever I would be hesitant to use them. However, the way this hanger/frame is designed, the screws look like they're only used to hold the hanger in place until the wheel is attached with your QR axle and then everything will be squeezed together nice and tight. After replacement, shifting is ok on half the cassette and skippy on the other half. I suspect it's not quite straight from the factory (or is so weak it bent during installation!?). I'll have to put a derailleur alignment gauge on it and readjust the gears.

Garbage, I wasn't even able to go for one easy trail ride before this thing bent. I bought this before a race which I'm now going to have to drop out of because it bent during the pre ride and now I have no way of fixing it. I just did a slow, leisurely ride to conserve my energy and it still got messed up. Thanks for the waste of $30 to buy this and my entrance fee into the race that I will forfeit. Furious!

It fits but it snaps, I think it is a design failure of GT. The hanger looks good and performs well. I recommend Wheels Manufacturing for all hangers.

Perfect fit, seems to be good quality part. Was able to install and do all adjustments just fine.

I give it two stars only because the hanger worked out just fine. The bolts that were sent in the package on the other hand are not the correct size. Do not buy unless you still have the old bolts and they are still in good shape. The silver bolts in the photo are the correct size. The black bolts were sent with the hangar and they are not the correct size.
