Best one out there!! Most Secure!!
My biggest hesitation in purchasing this sooner was that it looked plastic and I wasn’t convinced it would hold a bully stick securely. I was wrong! It is plastic, but the part that holds the bully is metal. I spent $$$ on different bully holders and the Bully Stick Companion is the most secure, and versatile one out there! It’s able to fit all different sizes of bully sticks and treats. I had a bag of bully sticks sitting in my pantry because they were either too small or too big for the holders I had. Which this Bully Stick companion, I am able to securely fit a jumbo thick bully stick down to a flat thin beef gullet! Everything I tried with this hold, is firmly secured. It’s also the easiest to place and remove the bully sticks from! The other holders I used, sometimes required pliers to remove the nubs!! Another plus (big plus) is that it’s flat! So it wastes less of the bully sticks!! Which saves a ton of money in the long run. With the other bully holders I was throwing away at least two inches of bully sticks away. I even like that it has a leash on it. This way it’s so easy to find. I spent hours over the course of a year searching for bully holders under the bed, couch, laundry, etc. the leash makes it easy to spot and grab. As for the negative reviews, they seem to be about pups chewing the actual bully holder! I’m not sure why a dog would chew the holder and not the treat inside the holder. Unless they are letting the treat get too low. I have a couple teeth marks on mine, but I think that’s from letting the gully sticks go to low. Gullet sticks are very high value treats for my pups. I don’t think you can fault the holder for that. As far as longevity, I’ve only had the holder for a few months but no signs of wear. Works just as good as the day I purchased it. It’s pricey, I think of how much money I will save on bully sticks because it’s flat, and how much time and aggravation I will save not fussing over using or finding the the holder. Well worth it!!

Life saving gadget
This is such a genius idea! My 60 lbs, mixed breed, pound dog, is an aggressive chewer! she's choked on the last little piece of bully stick about four times! The durability of this little genius gadget, is unbelievable.! Roxy has tried to chew at the gadget to get to the last piece. And it is chewed up but, it works fabulously. Takes a good beating and still keeps on working. My picture shows the little piece that’s left that she can’t get to. It also makes her eat the bully stick much slower! I would recommend this fantastic life-saving gadget for anyone who feeds their dogs bully sticks! It also keeps it upright,

It works, but make sure you tighten it
This works well and I have used it for both bully sticks and collagen chews. My favorite part is the strap that you can use to safely take it away from your pup. I still trade him for something else, but at least I can easily get the stick away from him. The only issue is that I clamped in a 4" bully stick and he somehow got it out and swallowed the entire bully stick. So I will try to clamp down more next time. I also wish it would hold a thicker chew since some collagen chews are too wide to fit. But otherwise good. Seems overpriced for what it is - but I think that about all bully stick holders.

Great Buy!
I would recommend and I'm buying a replacement as I write this review. This is not the most durable design but overall very good. It seems that the internal mechanism is steel encased with plastic. My dogs chewed through the plastic and now the remaining plastic chards bind up prevents from opening up the clamp to relode a bully stick. I though about why not just make it steel but a recent vet visit revealed a cracked tooth. I don't think it was this that did it but if it was made out of just steel it would not be safe. I am buying a replacement and now I'm going to stop my dog when he gets close to finish the treat and pull it away. Hopefully I get more life out of the 2nd try.

Broke within a month
The media could not be loaded. Very pleased with the bully stick holder at first! It holds the stick firmly and allows my dog to chew more of the treat than my other holder. First one I purchased got lost after a couple weeks. The second one I bought has stripped out at the tightener and no longer securely holds the stick for my dog. It lasted less than 4 weeks and I'm very disappointed there was no return option. Not sure who I can contact for a refund.

Love that it's flat and very secure!
This thing is great for securely holding all sizes of bully sticks, and it's easy to put them in and take them out. Also, I love that it is flat because when my dog chews, he puts both his paws on the bully stick holder (on either side of the actual stick) as he chews, and because it's flat it gives him more traction as he chews. I took off the brown leash thing and saved it because I did not need that part, but it's nice to know that when if I ever bring one outside that I can add the leash to it for easy locating. Great product, 5 stars.Edit: I wanted to add that I still love this thing! It's the only bully stick holder I've had that holds regular to smaller thickness bully sticks securely. Other ones I've bought may say they work for small dogs/small sticks, but they don't secure the stick enough. I was looking to purchase another one of these and it was out of stock for several months, and thrilled to see it's back in stock. The only bully stick holder I will buy!

Really solves the problem of the dangerous bully stick end nub
This is really well designed. A few months ago my small poodle swallowed the last 1/2 inch of a bully stick and it was caught in her esophagus all night and she was heaving and we almost took her to the emergency room (which would have been lots of money). This is a common problem and many dogs need surgery to remove a stuck nub of bully stick. This bully stick holder has a tight screw mechanism that holds the stick firmly in place and the dog can chew only up to the last 1/2 inch, which remains screwed in for disposal. An added benefit is that the dog can easily hold the stick by applying pressure on the metal body of the holder. Also a great design to have the leash attached to it so you can easily take away the bully stick when the dog has had enough without that nasty growl or snapping at your hand sometimes. I would highly recommend this to anyone that lets their dog eat bully sticks. Super smart design to solve a dangerous and potentially very costly vet bill.
