Mac Charger USB C 61w Power Adapter Mac Book Pro Charger Compatible with 2018 New MacBook Air 2017 Mac Thunderbolt Charger 13 inch 2019 Type C Charger and More (61w)

Using it with my MacBook Pro. For the charger speed I have noticed no difference between the original apple charger. I use it when I go to work. It is portable and small enough to stick into my bag without much clutter.

I use this as a back up to my macbook charger and notice it does get hotter quicker so I am very cautious when I use it.

This charger was purchased in December so that I could have a separate charger for home and office. It was used roughly half of the time, and the other half I charged using the stock MacBook charger that comes with your Mac from Apple. While build quality is noticeably lighter and cheaper feeling, it worked perfectly fine for a while. That being said, it has since completely stopped working. It was not beat up or abused, it just laid on the floor near my desk. Occasionally it would be moved around, but the vast majority of the time it lay still. Perhaps I got a bad unit, but I would absolutely not recommend this if you want a product that will last. You will end up spending just as much money in the long run, if not more, should you choose to buy this charger because you WILL NEED to replace it . In my situation it needed to be replaced within the first 7 months, and I will also note that I have been working at home since March, and that this charger has been used maybe 20 times in that period.

I purchased the 61W to more quickly charge my 2017 12" Macbook which comes with a 30W charger. This is much larger in size but does the job quickly and reliably. My one caveat is that the cord is somewhat short (only 6 ft) so I will be purchasing a longer USB-C to USB-C. Most importantly it was a fraction of the name brand Apple price!

This was a replacement as my yorkie chewed the plug on my original. It charges my Mac air..however, the cord ends up being much shorter than the original. The computer end does not always fit right and slips out just a tiny bit which of course caused it not to charge.

The charger is light weight. Nice to touch. I always dreamed about it, recently ordered. Finally, I have this adapter. Convenient, practical. The device itself does not heat up while charging. You can work on a computer for a long time. Satisfied with the purchase, the result impressed me. A reliable USB cable is included. Suitable for all types of equipment that has a USB port. The most important thing is that during long-term work with the battery no defects were found, it does not swell and does not start to produce unpleasant sounds.

I had to order two of these products and get refunded both times. The first time it was supposed to be at my house the next day and it had been four days and still not arrived. I requested a refund and ordered a second one. When it arrived, the metal outlet prongs were bent and it was nearly impossible to fold them down to stick into the wall. After I was able to get them down it worked for about two days until it started cutting in and out of a charge. Maybe I received a dud but I do not want to give it a 3rd chance.

I‘ve regularly used the charger for a bit over 4 months now, and it’s worked perfectly fine up until recently. I’ve tried using it with different USB-C cables, including the official one by Apple, but I’m afraid it has met its end.The price and quick charging time gave me an initially good impression, but it unfortunately is not sturdy.Would not recommend purchasing if you’re looking for a long-term replacement for your charger.
