Not compatible with latest Software
*** 1/19/26 Update *** Neuro Desktop has been updated (3.0.32) and now everything works as expected. Wow, this is an awesome system! *** 1/14/26 Update *** This does work with the previous version of Neuro Desktop. 0.8.86. I increased my review from 1 to 4 stars since it works fine with 0.8.86. I will increase to 5 stars once they have fixed the bug in Neuro Desktop. The hardware does seem fine. *** Original Review *** This product is not compatible with the latest Neuro Desktop software from Source Audio. I have opened a support ticket and will update this review once I have a resolution (or return the product). I am running Neuro Desktop 3.032 I have tested with two different USB cables I have tested on a MacBookPro M2 Max running Tahoe 26.1 and a MacBook Pro M4 Pro running Sequoia 15.7.3 Good luck! I love my SourceAudio pedals!

It works great..
It works great ... now... I was a bit put off initially that it would not work with my GT-10b. After some research I found that it required a firmware update. I'm really surprised that by firmware version 1.7 this was not fixed, especially since the primary function of this is all about MIDI.

It worked, But it's relevancy is coming to an end
Unless you have a bunch of old source audio pedals that do not use MIDI din cables, you might as well buy the new source audio MIDI adapter or a Disaster Area micro (Gen 4) where you can ACTUALLY see the presets of your pedal in real time, or a good midi controller with ports to support the TRRS inputs or even one with USB Midi capabilities. This was a great product but with all the new innovations it's nearing the end of its cycle. It might still have its uses if you are a person who doesn't mind being tethered to a computer while you perform, or if you use it with your digital audio workstation.

Very useful to save presets on Soundblox 2 pedals and also share the Source Audio expression pedal between them.

Source Audio rocks all around!
Allows MIDI communication to the SB2 series pedals. Having saved scenes available to change with a single button press is pretty awesome. SA has amazing customer service regarding a small issue I had with one of their pedals. It was solved in less than a week, with communication every few hours back and forth until it was resolved! To get the full use out of this particular unit, you'll need a MIDI controller. There are many out there so find one you like and be happy!
