What are you looking for in a security envelope? Security, right? This one is a nice medium weight, with the typical blue cross-hatch surface inside. It also has a pleasant satiny feel. And best of all, it seals by removing a thin paper strip across the inside of the flap, which really sticks the first time you press it down. It appears to be the same type of sticky product that the post office now uses on stamps. That is, with some diligence you can un-peel it and then stick it back again. In an envelope that is a handy feature for those of us who occasionally forget to enclose something that was meant to go inside. It also means that someone else could open the envelope and re-seal it, which could compromise the security. For me, the convenience trumps the remote chance of tampering. And un-peeling the flap would leave marks showing that it had been tampered with, so that is another protection...but I wanted you to be aware of that possibility. All in all, I will order this product again. Good value, good quality.

Perfect for sending out letters and payments. Its perfect that I don't have to lick the seal anymore to close it.

I'm not sure it's possible to "love" envelopes, but I gave them 5 stars because they do what they're supposed to, they are good quality, and the price was decent. I'm not sure what else you could ask for in an envelope.

These security envelopes work fine. They could be thicker and the blue safety ink could definitely be darker, however they do stick and seal well. The only complain is that the envelopes are made of super thin paper and tend to bend a little (that's why Im ginving it 4/5 stars). Other than that, the security lining works great and the self adhesive is a plus. The cost is reasonable. I would buy this again.

Not sure how many stars to give these things as they are just envelopes but they do what they are supposed to do--i.e. they seal just fine and ya can't see through them--and the price is right so I guess they get 5 stars.

Excellent value here. 45 envelopes for a little over two bucks ($2.36 at the time of my purchase). To seal simply peel the strip off the envelope flap and fold to close. No licking required! Nice "add on" item.
