TRC 75 Plant Derived Minerals Dietary Supplement, 32 Ounce

I've been interested in mineral products from listening to Alex Jones' radio show. That show focuses on a competing product (Tangy Tangerine) which is very expensive, but it is hard to get unbiased information on how good that product actually is. As a result, I hesitate to try that one. However, the doctor's overall rationale for mineral supplementation seemed valid, so I decided to try this.I find the taste quite acceptable. On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 1 an "ick" and 10 a "delicious"), I would give this a 5, maybe a 4. Slightly unpleasant, but not gag-inducing.I mainly give this to my dogs. (If you are new to that, try adding it into a mix of ground hamburger meat and cottage cheese. They'll eat it right up.)I'm still experimenting so I ordered a different liquid mineral product for Round Two. I'm hoping that by using two different brands in rotation I'll eventually get everything I need.Update, Feb. 2013: After giving this to my dogs for two months, I'm completely convinced there is something to this minerals thing. (I've also ordered a second brand as an experiment to see which works better, but as of this writing TRC Minerals is the only mineral supplement we've tried.)After watching the dogs over two months, I have been so convinced that this works that I started drinking this regularly myself. After about a week of taking it I began starting to crave it, and it no longer tastes bitter to me. Just tastes good. Clearly, there is something in it that my body needs, and my body now instinctively "wants" this supplement.(To clarify, I get no energy boost from this, so it's not something where you drink it and then 30 minutes later feel "I'm glad I drank that." It's instead a craving that develops after you drink it regularly for a week or more.)Unfortunately, I've now run out, so end of experiment for now. I've already ordered a second bottle.As for the taste, try mixing it with something like Nature's Plus - Red Lightning, 8 oz powder or Amazing Grass Amazing Meal Powder, Organic Pomegranate Mango Infusion, Gluten Free, 15.5-Ounce Canister. Both of these are sweet and balance out the bitterness of this mineral supplement very well.To give to kids, I suspect that if you mixed it into yogurt, only the most finicky would notice it (maybe add some fruit preserves or something to balance out any bitterness they detect).

After listening to "Dead Doctors Don't Lie" audio tape, I started buying this 30 years ago and take it every day. So far I haven't died yet!

I purchased this and the manufacturer states there are more than 75 trace minerals in the product. If true, then definitely worth it. I will say the taste is not so good (the manufacturer even mentions it) so you definitely want to put it in with juice or another drink. Water won't cut it, it has an unpleasant taste.

My husband has been taking these minerals for over 25 years and swears by them. Besides general overall good health benefits, they keep him absolutely "regular" which is another key health benefits in preventing colon cancer and others.

I ordered this accidentally, but when it arrived after reading the label it looked like a good product. This morning during breakfast I decided I'll take a teaspoonful to try it out. This did not go over well. Everything in my stomach (1/2 orange, yogurt and green tea) came up and it was directly related to this product. This may work for some people, but the mineral taste and whatever is in it (which is not well outlined) did not sit well with me. Proceed with caution......

I liked the ingredients, but it was difficult to mask the sodium chloride taste

Great product! I always feel better when I drink this every day, and can definitely tell a difference when I don't.
