I have had these for many years and have put them through the dishwasher on the top rack without issue. I like that I can have ice cubes without watering down drinks. They also do not add any scent or flavor.

I love that it keeps things cool without the messy water sweats.

So at first I thought,like the other purchaser,that I had gotten a number of "duds" that didn't freeze because it had been over 24 hours. However I had them all in a big container and that was the problem. I now but them in plastic bags evenly and freeze them. Then I put then in a container after they are solid. I use a stainless steel cup.I put about half the amount in my cup and the cubes stay frozen for hours! Like 12 hours! I really like them but I will say I still like real ice better. But these are a great alternative. No plastic taste. I also use them in my cats water bowls. It helps them see the water line better and gets them to drink more. I use one at a time for that. Obviously watch your cat to insure he or she will not eat it.

I hate it when people don't know how to use things and rate it low because of that. Bought it few months ago, not a single one of them craxked, and they all getting frozen, easiest way is to seperate them to 4-5 in ziplock bags.PROS:1. Better for the environment.2. Safe- it has water inside of it.3. Better for using with sodas, then it doesn't melt in your drink.4. Space saver- you don't need to use ice pallets, throw it wherever you want in your fridge.CONS:1. You need to clean it with soap if used it with drinks other then water.2. It takes a while to get your drink cold.3. It is pretty hard on straw contigo bottles, if you put too much you can't close the lid.I would recommend it!

We've given these a good 2 months trial & they are easy to use, clean & freeze & they don't have a taste, but they don't stay nearly as cold as regular ice cubes nor do they last as long & I use a large metal container that I drink from. I had to fill my container all the way up with these to get a really cold drink whereas I don't have to with regular ice. Regular ice will stay frozen all night in my container, these melt within 1 hour.

As soon as I got these bad boys in the mail, first thing I did, I unwrapped all of them first from their fish net like wrapping. As any of us should do is wash them before use. & shoved them all into a ziploc bag because they are all individual, I waited 24 hours to make sure they were completely frozen.I decided to make an iced drink the next day. My drink was wonderful! It was nice & cold without all the water sinking into the bottom of my drink, watering it down.

No more watered down drinks? Oh, dear! The practical me always said, "Ahem, with joy we must also have moments of sorrow. Now, dear friends, just drink the fake lemonade!" But ...... TADA ...... I hoot and holler and point to the glass! Yes, dear friends, instead of fake lemonade carefully poured over real ice cubes in a fake (read: plastic) glass (see what I did there?), I have enchantingly entered the realm of post-realism. You now get fake lemonade over fake ice cubs in fake glass. Badda bing! EZ! These cubes work! They wash easily! They are fun! They're REAL good. Buying them is a really good idea.

I ordered these to cool my fresh milk off as I milked my cow and when I got them the tag said contains ingredients known to the state of California to cause birth defects or cancer. It didn't explain itself at all, but it got me wondering. I paid $40 for them, but that didn't make me happy. I wouldn't recommend them if that's what they do.
