Tupperware Microwave Cereal Bowls, Set of 4

When I first got this I thought the same thing as others about how hard it was to close the lids. After soaking it all in hot water one time as someone mentioned on this site, they continue to close easily. I like the bright colors too. I compared these to the same bowls I still have and they seem pretty close. These may be a bit less sturdy but not very noticeable.

I love using these bowls for feral and desserts. I love the sturdiness of them and use them with my grandchildren. The colors are pretty and having lids helps when storing something.

Ordered these to replace an old set (10+years) whose lids were warped and cracking. Really like this size, the flat bottoms and lids make them eminently stackable. The tab on the lids is a nice feature - sometimes have to work to get the lids on completely which is the only issue (kids have put them in the fridge without closing them completely). Colors are great and look good interchanged!

So, believe it or not I still have 2 of the original Tupperware Cereal Bowls from the 1970's. These are nice, much sturdier (for microwave purposes), and a bit more straight lined at the bottom.You clearly have to fight with the lids to get them on.Sadly though the "Made in U.S.A" imprint on my original ones is noticeably gone on these new ones.

These bowls looked so cute in the picture and I needed microwaveable bowls they were a little on the small side and not as deep as I hoped they would be but it serves it's purpose. I am able to portion control my breakfast cereals and lunch bowls that I pack to work. The only thing I absolutely get frustrated about is they are very hard to close. How can I keep food safe from spilling out if I can't even close these containers. I found a trick if they are fresh out of the microwave they seem to close after a little bit of a struggle. Not too happy about that. I just might return them for that reason. So it's not something I would recommend to buy. They look really cute and nice and ideal but just not practical if you can't close them.

These were exactly what I was looking for. The size and shape with the added bonus of a lid. Thanks- George

Bowls were great. Shipped quick. The covers are slightly difficult to get on but not anything out of the ordinary. I have had Tupperware all my life and the covers have always been this way at first because the plastic is so stiff and new. After the first wash they become more flexible and easier to put on. Some people on here made it sound like the covers didn't fit at all and I was hesitant to buy. Glad I didn't listen to some of the reviewers. Definitely a good purchase!

My Dad and I love these flat bottom bowls for all sorts of food. They're good with cereal, ice cream, chili, popcorn, chips...trouble is we only had four, and over the years we've been less than gentle with them. So when I saw these online, I figured it was worth a shot. These are the same bowls, brighter colors, but now Mom can finally use the old bowls under the houseplants and Dad and I can munch in peace.
