The slim front plate is complemented further with matching metal rocker switches and flathead screws leaving a simple and sleek finish which the user will love. These Intelligent Dimmer Switches employ the latest state of the art electronic circuitry and use current sensing which continuously monitors the load current to prevent overheating and overloading. They also have Soft Start which gradually increases the light output from the load over 1--3 seconds after switch on. This is particularly beneficial when used to dim Mains Voltage Tungsten Halogen lamps as they have a very high inrush current at switch on. All the terminals at the back are in-line which means the electrical wire can be cut to the same length when installing and the terminal screws are backed out and held captive within the terminal housing making them really easy to install.
