Staub 4-Quart Round Casserole 4-quart cherry

When you get a good example of this casserole dish, the quality shines through and it is really a delight to use. However, I received three poorly finished examples before a fourth was problem free, so quality control at the factory is not great. The problems I had were all to do with the exterior glazed finish and bits missing that impact on how it looks and, perhaps over time, performs and lasts. I certainly wasn’t happy about the finish given the outlay required.Note that, although the listing refers to this as a 4 quart size, it is a 24cm casserole dish, so compare the two because they are the same item just listed separately and with different rrps.My perfectly finished casserole dish performs well in the oven and cleans up like new. I am hand washing, which I always hate to do, but the casserole dish deserves careful handling. It comes in a heavy duty box for gifting purposes.

Si tratta della versione inglese della famosa Cocotte Staub...Non é nient'altro che il modello largo 24 cm., alto 11 cm. (senza coperchio) e 15,20 cm. (con coperchio) e le misure dunque sono in pollici (2,54 cm.) Si tratta di una pentola che non deve mancare in cucina per pasta, brasati, spezzatini etc. per 2/4 persone, cioé per la famiglia...Come questa c'é solo la concorrente francese LeCreuset...(più vezzosa, ma più cara). La consiglio a tutti.Io l'ho acquistata nel Warehause in ottime condizioni e sono soddisfatto.

Una cottura impeccabile sia sul fornello per brevi e lunghe cotture sia in forno per fare il pane. Costa molto, ma la qualità si percepisce solo a guardarla. Con le giuste accortezze può durare una vita

veramente una pentola speciale. L'ho usata per fare il ragù, il minestrone, lo spezzatino. anche semplicemente per cuocere fagiolini o pasta... ottima resa! Ancora non ho provato a farci il pane (che poi è il motivo principale per cui ho chiesto di regalarmela), ma prossimamente provvedo. il rivestimento interno ha già i segni della fatica, é bella proprio per questo, ma non ne inficia l'utilizzo. Ottimo acquisto.
