We bought this as a fire guard. After we unpacked it we downloaded the OnBox app, put in the supplied code and got very easy to follow instructions. Once assembled, it's easy to adjust the various angles to make it fit perfectly and the wall fixation system is very secure and easy to use.The door mechanism is child proof but easy to use giving easy access, it looks very good, built of quality materials and is very sturdy.It came all the way to Lanzarote without any problems, it was well packaged and arrived ahead of time.Can't wait for the grandkids to arrive at Christmas and have a roaring fire without having to worry about their safety.Strongly recommend.

I use this baby gate to keep my Terrier dog at bay, this gate is very strong, metal design and fits just right at my front door, I have not secured to the wall….yet, but left standing in place keeps him inside but it is possible to knock it over, it blew down one day, if it was to keep a baby in it would need to be secured to the wall (brackets are provided) as it could land on the baby and it is made with solid painted steel rods.It’s good and strong and better than other light flimsy Barrie’s that I bought. You can get this in bigger longer (extensions) parts from the same supplier.Babies and Toddlers can be stronger than you think. Secure this gate to a wall on both sides and your babe is in a safer place.Cannot praise this enough

Really nicely made product, and an attractive way to keep babies and toddlers well away from the fireplace. As others have mentioned the instructions are not fantastic, but are comprehensible enough to allow it to be put together without frustration. The only negative is that in the end the ways that you can put this together are fairly limited. It would be nice if the sections were broken up (so more shorter sections) and so allowed for more bespoke shapes being created, but you can by additional sections at a cost.The set does include fixings to attach to the wall. I'm sure these should be used, but as we want to take it down through summer we have not put them up. Our strong one year old son can stand against it and shake it with all his might without it moving at all.Overall very happy and it does look good in the living room.

I buy many items from various website but very rarely leave a review. I always read reviews before I buy an item so I felt I needed to write a review for this item.It works perfectly as a room divider to stop our puppy going into areas we are not ready for him to whilst toilet training. It was easy to put together by myself (plus 50 years old!) Fits in a straight line over 3meters and can be put into other shapes to fit/suit your room/areas. I have not fixed the wall brackets as I didn’t need to. It works perfectly for our situation. One of the best purchases I have made. It does the job.

I purchased this gate in size "Large" to go around my log burner to stop my children going near. To Start with it didn't arrive until 3 days after "expected delivery date", but this wasn't too much of a problem for me, just a little annoyance. When I received the guard the box was open at the top. Whether that was from customs (was being delivered from Germany) or not I'm not sure but it was originally stapled shut so I would think it would have to have been opened deliberately.On opening the box everything was packaged nicely and although the instructions were a bit confusing at first, it was relatively easy to assemble. I guess it's easy for me to say that as my husband assembled it, and he did say that a picture of how it went together would have just been easier!The guard itself is great. it's slightly taller than a normal stair gate but not by much. it's easy for an adult to open and I'm hoping my 3 year old (who has mastered all of our stair gates) does not figure this one out!Make sure you have a drill handy as you do need to screw it to the wall. It can seem a little slack when in place but we pulled it quite hard and there is no way our kids could pull that down.It looks great as well as being functional.I would definitely recommend this product.

I needed a solution for working from home as I have a lounge/dinner in one - I am in the shielded group so had no option to go into work and this solved the problem I was facing. We do not have a spare room so I could only work down stairs.It fitted the whole width as you can see from the images it comes with all the fixings we have two boys so it stops them from coming down to where my computers are and crawling under the table which is a safety issue - so I can still work and see them at the same time.I like the fact you can put into the shape you need so going forward it is a gate I could still utilise even if I wasn’t still working from home.It’s sturdy and I like that it’s no overly tall so as adults we can step over it rather than Lee using the gate, as you can see from the images it isn’t imposing which was a worry my husband had due to it being our living space we have actually got used to it being there.I would recommend this baby gate to family and friends as it does offer a solution to a lot of problems if you have children or not.

This gate is Brilliant. Delivery was quick and once opened/unpacked only took about 30mins to connect together.I have a one year old and needed something strong and sturdy. This Gate is just that, easy instructions really strong and gives me confidence it will protect my little one.I like everything about the product, the gate opens easily by an adult,fixes to the wall with a strong bracket and can be removed from the wall with the quick release system when not required.Fantastic product would recommend to any one.
