He was the #1 graduate of his F-15C "Eagle" Weapons School (Air Force "TOP GUN") class and he returned as an Instructor and Subject Matter Expert on Debriefing. He eventually commanded an operational F-22A "Raptor" squadron. A combat veteran, he was promoted to the rank of full Colonel and upon retirement was awarded the Legion of Merit. In 2016 "Cujo" founded VMax Group, a Leadership and Team Development company, and in 2018 he began his motivational speaking career.
