So, I get headaches. Sinus, migraines, tension, stress...I get them all! For pretty much all headaches I get, I crave something HOT on my head. I searched around for awhile and finally found the Bed Buddy. I figured, what the heck, I might as well give it a try. AND IT WORKED!Now, it doesn't rid me completely of my headaches, but, warming that baby up and laying with it over my eyes just feels amazing. Trust me, if you get headaches and crave that warmth(or cold I suppose, though I've never used it that way), you need this.Now, here's the dirty run down:1. This works. It lessens my headache pain while I'm waiting for medication to kick in.2. When warmed in the microwave, it can keep hot for a good bit of time. I'd say maybe 30-45 minutes.3. Provides a MOIST heat. Perfect for sinus headaches.4. You WILL look ridiculous wearing this on your head. But it doesn't matter, because you'll feel awesome.5. Your spouse WILL make fun of you for wearing a giant blue eye mask that proudly states "THE ORIGINAL BED BUDDY" on the front. But again, you don't seem to care since you're getting wonderous headache relief!6. The buddy does have a slight odd smell. It's not bad, but sort of smells like oatmeal. Just a warning for those who get very sensitive to smells with headaches.7. The buddy tells you not to wear this warm on your eyes...which I totally ignore.In the end, this works. I love it and I've had it since 2010. It's held up fabulously and I'll never get rid of it!

I love these masks. They apply a soothing weight to your eyes, without exasperating any headache you may have. I keep one in the freezer too. Sometimes cold is better than warm

It doesn’t stay cold very long. I do like that it’s weighted though.

These are so helpful when im not feeling well.

The heat last for a good amount of time. Not too heavy.

EDIT: THIS EXPLODED in my microwave after reheating for the third time because it did not feel hot, only lukewarm. I was busy the first two times after it was done heating which is why I heated it a third time. Each time I heated it for about 2 minutes. The label says not to go above one but this is only to prevent burns, it says nothing about it being combustible. Now my microwave that I bought a few months ago is permanently stained yellow, my whole house stinks, and I wasted my money. I hoping my microwave is not further damaged.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Original posting:I put this in the back of my freezer with the rest of my ice packs for several days. Upon use it felt only slightly colder than room temperature (which was warm). It is useless to me as an ice pack. In the microwave it works better but does not stay hot for long. I was bothered especially by the chemical smell leaching from the product itself. I could barely keep it on my head because it was so strong smelling. I'm hoping if I wash it I can change that. The material is a thick cloth instead of a light, plastic-like material so it would be great perhaps if you're sensitive to strong temperatures but I don't think this will do much for my sinus headaches.

You know when you have such a horrible sinus headache you wish someone would hand you a Dremmel with something attached that would allow you to clear your own sinuses to stop the pain? Well, Sinus Buddy is a much less gory problem-solver. I always use mine warm and it truly helps things settle down. If you understand my Dremmel comment, get the Sinus Buddy! 👍🏻
