Your neighbors living below will thank you.
My neighbors below me always complain about the noise my sound system makes even though I don’t turn it too loud. I would put my sub at 30% power and have my volume relatively low but they would come up and knock on my door claiming they “can’t even hear the TV.” As a result I would have my sub basically off and resorted to having headphones on if I wanted to listen to music. At some point I got sad that I couldn’t use my sound system to its potential and did some research on possible solutions and found out about insulation pads. I decided to buy one in hopes that it would solve my problem.I got the pad and put it under my sub. This is pretty mean in hindsight but I decided to conduct an “experiment.” I turned my sub to 50% power and put the volume pretty loud but not uncomfortably loud. I played some bass heavy low-fi trap music through the night until 2 AM. I put my hand on the floor and the wall behind the sub and felt no vibration! The next day I played music through the whole day while doing work still no complaints.I saw some reviews saying that the build quality is poor which is something to consider. For me personally it came in just fine with nothing falling apart. Also the bass sounds more sharp and I feel that the bass is more impactful perhaps because the bass isn’t just going into the ground. If you have issues with the neighbors below being annoyed I fully recommend this. It may also extract more performance from your sub.

Works for me
I'm using this riser foam as a stand for the Polk PSW 10 subwoofer. The riser arrived in perfect condition. It's lightweight, but sturdy, and withstands the weight of the subwoofer very well, which I have against the wall under my desk. If I ever want to reach into the back to change a control, I'm able to easily move the riser with the subwoofer on it, to angle it outward, without damaging it.The dimensions leave just enough room on the sides, and additional room front to back, so that I'm able to position the subwoofer according to my preference. I have a little room in the back, and more room in the front. As I understand it, the riser is supposed to absorb extra vibrations, and help sound from moving downward to someone living beneath me. So far, I've had no complaints about noise, and the sound is tight. So I would recommend this.

Gotta be honest...
I had my doubts as I opened the boxes(ordered 2) and pulled them out...They were sized as stated, but they were SO light, and didn't seem like they'd support my speakers...BUT, I'd gotten this far so I may as well follow through and put them in place...I put them in place, placed my speakers on them and proceeded to play some music, some very bass heavy music...Well, gotta be honest, they cut the transmission of the bass through the floor by over 75%...So I turned it UP, and UP, and while I could still feel the bass in the floor, I could feel it more in the air, bass response was up...So I played an album, have had resonance problems at volume, put on Supertramp - Crime of the Century, and it sounded NICE, turned it up, still sounded nice, turned it up yet again, and NO resonance...So, in essence, they did what they were supposed to do, decouple the speakers from the floor and increase bass response...I WOULD buy these again, and I DO recommend these to anyone wanting to isolate and decouple their speakers from the floor...

Excellent Isolation Pad
While I feel that these isolation pads are overpriced, they do work pretty well. This pad supports my sub well and dramatically reduced the vibrations going into the floor of my apartment. At moderate volumes, nothing can be felt in the floor. Even at high volumes, the amount of vibration going into the floor is greatly reduced from before. The sound also seems to have tightened up and become slightly more punchy. Overall, this product works well and accomplishes it's purpose! Now I can enjoy my music louder and my neighbors never know the difference. Unfortunately it looks like I'm going to need to get isolation pads for the rest of my setup now too. Oh well!

Good quality
Mine was too large for the bass so I cut it in half with a blade. Works great, now the neighbors don't mind my bass.

Pyle is perfect!
I love the dampening of the bass and the fact that dampening doesn’t mean less! The Pyle directs the bass more into the listening space and less through my walls and floors. I live in an apartment and that’s a game changer for me, I AM A CUSTOMER 4 LIFE!

Does exactly what it's supposed to do!
I think there's a lot of confusion about what this piece of equipment actually IS, leading to some odd reviews. This is an isolation mat. It's designed to stop your sub from rattling around on the floor. I have wooden floors in my family room, and the sub would vibrate itself around, leading to rattling, nasty bass. It was bad enough that if I put something on top of it, it would rattle around and fall off.So, by adding this mat between the wood floor and the sub, it no longer moves, it no longer rattles. My bass sound is clear and smooth. It doesn't reduce sound, it's not a barrier to prevent your downstairs neighbors heating you - it's just a place to put your sub, when the floor isn't suitable. Works perfectly.
