Fresh step has to be one of the best cat litters out there in my opinion. I have tried many kinds of cat litters and nothing keeps odors hidden like fresh step. As long as you and your cats do not have an issue with powder, I highly recommend it to anyone. It not only keeps the odors down, it also makes your cat smell powder fresh after leaving the box. The amount of powder in this particular version of fresh step is a bit excessive, however I believe the powder is the main thing that keeps the unwanted feces odors down. I have 2 cats, I do scoop their boxes regularly. I love the fact that there is virtually no odor left from the feces after you scoop the box. It clumps very well. Both of these factors save you money in the long run because you do not have to do as many full litter box changes as you do with other litters that retain the unpleasant odors even after the feces is removed and don't clump properly. I would recommend fresh step to anyone.

I have used this product for years. We used to get it at Costco, but my store stopped carrying it. I decided to try whatever it was they switched to and it was terrible. The littler got caked in my cat's paws and he tracked it all over the house. We struggled through it, but when that was over, we tried something else. It wasn't as bad, but still not great. Finally I went online to find cat litter (one of the last things I thought I would ever order online) and was elated to find exactly what I wanted on Amazon! I ordered it and since switching back to this, our lives are SO much better. Minimal litter tracking. Manageable clumps without turning to concrete. Great odor control.

I liked the price, scent and the timely manner in which this product arrived. However, each individually wrapped package and then the entire product wrapped in plastic turned my off to buying this again. I will only buy cat litter in the cardboard boxes ( ie Scoop Away) and hope others will do the same in order to reduce plastic waste.

I change my cat's box every 2 weeks. The litter controls the odor. You would never know I had a cat!!

This cat litter works really well! Very little smell with two small cats and one litter box for up to 5 days. My only complaint is that the box was not carefully delivered and was leaking cat litter through a hold in the bag when it arrived.

I've been using this cat litter for a long time and never really had any issues with it. I have 3 adult cats and 2 large litter boxes. This litter keeps the boxes fresh and it clumps well. My only small complaint is the dust, this brand tends to be on the dusty side, other then that I love this product.Side Note: I wouldn't purchase through Amazon again though, not that there were any issues, it's just WAY cheaper at Costco.. I Paid $14.00 for the same cube....

I have had cats for over 50 years and this is the best litter I have ever used! I did not like the lightweight Fresh Step as well and, at first, didn't care for the amount of dust from the regular Fresh Step. Now it is more dust-free and I love it! Covers odors very well and scoops cleanly so that litter can be added to, not replaced, often.

Hands down (I've tried them all-"Even the worlds Best") THE BEST litter for clumping (not breaking into smaller pieces) and odor control. I never smell a thing! Cost effective as long as you are cleaning the box daily (who wouldn't...eeewwww) because you are constantly recycling the clean litter that falls off the clump.I've been using it for years and will not use anything else
