If you collect Star Wars like I do, your gonna want that Moisture Vaporator. The Luke has strange hair, that is meant to represent a total of 3 seconds of the film. His knees do not bend either. Pretty rough, but the Moisture Vaporator is the bees knees.

This figure of Luke is horrible. The face looks nothing like Mark Hamil. The Vintage version of Luke looks much better. The only reason to get this figure is for the moisture vaporator. It's made of cheap plastic but looks pretty convincing with weathering and dirt on it. I wish Hasbro sold packs of these separately for diorama builders. So the figure is recommended only for that reason.

This is the 30th Anniversary Luke Skywalker Tatooine figure and the first A New Hope Luke figure I bought when I begain collecting. Contrary to Grown-up Collector Nerds' standards it's actually a good toy, designed for little children ages 4 and up to play with to recreate their favorite scenes or create their own! It's got a bolt-hinged neck, ball-hinged shoulders and elbows, and swivel wrists, waist and hips. No articulation in the knees or ankles.The face really doesn't look too much like Luke(Mark) but it's not the end of the world! It's actually based on a production photo of Mark Hamill standing by Luke's Landspeeder outside the homestead. So the hair is designed to look like it's blowing in the wind. If you compare the figure to the photo it actually looks pretty close. Also it's the only Tatooine Luke I've seen that comes with Anakin's lightsaber that can plug into a hole on his belt, also from the photo. It also comes with the only toy Moisture Vaporator, which are all around the homestead in the movies. The extra accessory of the Vaporator is no doubt why the figure was not 100% articulate. But, as I said it's a good toy for kids, as it should be.
