Fresh outta the box…the headpiece looks well made and acceptable. The chain, however, is rusty and corroding in a few spots. Not sure how stainless steel can rust (no, this is NOT tarnish as the actual metal surface is compromised) unless this isn’t stainless steel?UPDATE - Amazon replaced the unit and no issues with rusty chain. Upgrading to 4 stars.

When this neck-harness arrived, I was surprised by how sturdily built it is. Very impressive. Beefy! Although the neck muscles are obviously some of the most important in the entire body, they are often some of the most neglected and forgotten. Let's face it. Specifically targeting and training the neck is usually an afterthought for a lot of athletes. I think this is because it's sometimes difficult, awkward, and just plain inconvenient to actually train the neck. This harness addresses and remedies those issues. It's super sturdy, super easy to use, fully adjustable, fully padded, very comfortable, and easy to just throw in your workout/gym bag. For me, it seems like the perfect combination between the old-school "dungeon-training" and five-star comfort. The chain can be used with either plates or dumbbells, and the d-rings and carabiners can be used to clip in to the cable of a weight-machine. Furthermore, the design of the harness lets you target specific and various angles. Very versatile. I like to train my neck on the days I train shoulders (deltoids/trapezii). This seems to me like the most logical way to integrate the different neck-exercises, as those muscles aforementioned are all interrelated. And, this harness is the perfect "tool" to implement neck-training and put those exercises back into your workout-routine. Give this specialty piece of workout-gear a try! You won't be disappointed...

Good quality material and fit , easy to use

Worked well for about a month. First off, the part where the chain is attached on the right side bunches up and makes the harness feel lopsided, so you have to adjust your neck curling more on the left side of your neck to get an even rep.Also, the Velcro on chin strap isn't long enough for small heads like me, so you can't really secure it well without it coming loose. Then the Velcro on the chin strap started coming apart from the strap. Now about a month after use, it's pretty much useless as I can't secure the chin strap strongly enough to use it.If they could fix the right side where the chain is attached, and if the Velcro on the chin strap were longer and secured better with more stitching, it would be a pretty good harness.But overall it's junk now.
