Replacement Battery Pack for Electrolux Ergorapido, 2-in-1 Stick and Handheld Vacuum EL1014A

It seems the battery pack might be used battery as it loses power after 8 minutes after fully charged. I have not had it for more then 9 months. Too bad because other then that it's handy and has good suction with full battery power.

What you see is what you get, the orange prison jumpsuit color is quite different. My vacuum looks like a parts vacuum but it works great. For the price of a new vacuum, the replacement battery is worth the price.

It's a shame that this replacement battery pack lasts such a short amount of time. The vacuum itself is great, but that honeymoon period of having a working battery that holds a charge comes to an abrupt end and you're left with a device that gives you anywhere from 10-25 seconds of suction before dying. Shame on you Electrolux for charging this much for something that is essentially a "throw away" item. Shame on you.

Direct replacement for 1000 series ergorapido. Unfortunately the battery onlyAsts a few months with daily use.

It works as expected upon installation. However, if it is exactly like the one that came with the vacuum, it will stop holding a charge very well within about a year if it's kept plugged in all the time. I am going to experiment with only plugging it in when it's run down, this time, in hopes that it is that kind of battery and therefore can be effective for more than a year if handled right. I won't know the answer for a year because they don't say anything in the instructions about this. I do love the Electrolux model, and didn't see a better one on the market, so it was worth just buying the replacement battery pack.

My machine wasn't working well anymore and I debated buying a new one or trying the battery pack. I bought this and the machine is working like new again. Its unfortunate you have to buy this whole unit versus just the batteries. It seems like waste, but I am happy to have a working machine again. Its a great everyday use, light machine. I use it mainly on hard wood floors for dog hair!

I have had my Exectrolux ErgoRapido EL1014A Stick Vac for a little over 2 years, and I absolutely love it. It is light and cordless which takes the pain out of vacuuming. It picks up everything from the carpets, including cat fur and even occasional sand. And it's great for quick clean-ups. I use it about twice a week, and then the full size Oreck vacuum about every 10 days or so. Recently, I noticed the Electrolux vacuuming power was starting to wane. After reading reviews, I decided to keep my Electrolux because it works so well, and I ordered a replacement battery pack. I'm glad I did. It's working like new again !! -- And it's less expensive to purchase a new battery than to buy a new stick vac.
