Great pepper sauce

Those of you complaining about a solvent or ammonia smell when you first open the can have never opened a can of green peppercorns before.That's just the pepper brine, it's pretty strong I'll admit. What you do is pour it out into a small strainer and then rinse it for about a minute or so.Then put it into a plastic container or a glass jar or whatever and don't add any more liquid just leave them like that. Put them in the fridge and you can use them for about 6 months.Compared to other brands I've used working in restaurants over the years, these just have an excellent flavor. They're nice and soft so they smash easily for making a steak au poivre'. And those of you saying they have no heat, I completely disagree these things were pretty pungent, and I actually had to cut down a bit from what I usually use (from another brand) when making a green peppercorn demi-glace, or when adding them to pate' Maison.The 2 pack was by far the best deal. The cans I got were not dented and they were dated 2 years ahead for the "use by".Except for when I grow them myself and brine them myself, these were the best I've ever used.

If you are doing a peppercorn Demi sauce, you have already spend at least $20 on the Demi (or more if you make it yourself). Do you want to kill it by putting tasteless garbage in it? Sadly this is a great product at 3 times the price if you buy it elsewhere.
