I'm licenced security officer and any officer working in a field such as loss prevention it's important to have a record of suspicious activity as well as case #s for actual shoplifting arrests. It's good practice to keep those original notes for at least 4-6 months or in the event of a criminal case which you may be called to testify it's very helpful to the prosecution that they can present your original case notes which in any case I've had to be a witness for the prosecution ( only twice in 5yrs) it provides the jury with the same facts of the case being prosecuted. It also adds an added belief for the jury being that the notes may include some non essential information for the jury it does go to your credibility that those notes are original and not created to get a conviction. That's why I log all information, no matter how inconsequential so facts remain facts especially when you can provide an authenticated verification of field notes that cooberates the facts that are being presented at the trial.

It’s just paper notebooks

VERY SMALL. I ordered these for scratch pads to write down things when talking to customers at home. . The 'mini' in the description is correct. Fits in the palm of my hand, I am a small woman. These pads are tiny! My dad took them for his workshop. He said he can jot down a measurement or note when he is fixing things. Good quality product, but not if looking for regular scratch pad or shopping lists.

The insert notepads were hard to find with other resources, this one works perfectly. Good quality, good perforation.

These small pads are held together by a typical rubber strip along the top edge of the sheets. If that was all they did, they would be a 4.5 star product.Unfortunately, some not-so-bright designer decided to add a large staple through all the pages and then added a heavy paper tab covering the top end, front and back. The result is a pad of sheets which CANNOT be easily separated.To make these useful:Remove the heavy paper coverTear off the first sheetRemove the black cover strip completelyExpose the stapleRemove the stapleGlue strip will continue to hold pages togetherNow the pad is easy to use with pages that separate cleanly. That's a lot of extra effort to make the product useful.

Good to keep in different places and it doesnt take up a lot of room. This way it stays where you put it. Also it is good instead of sticky notes.
