This wash bottle is used to wash labware and to store washing solutions, such as acetone or deionized water. The LDPE (low-density polyethylene) body is lightweight, flexible, and elastic, has an opaque hue, and resists impact, stress cracks, and moisture absorption. Its Boston round shape is used for applications that require a rounded body, short neck, and narrow mouth to store liquid samples, solvents, and chemicals, and dry materials. The screw closure has its stem and draw tube molded in one piece for leak-proof applications, and its angled dispensing nozzle directs the stream of liquid. The spout can be cut back to increase the flow of washing solution. This bottle is suitable for storing and transporting labware washing solutions. Lab bottles are used to store, hold, and mix liquids, powders, and other substances in a wide variety of scientific industries. Lab bottles have a more pronounced neck and shoulder than jars. Lab bottles are manufactured with a combination of characteristics in order to meet the demands of particular applications, such as for solution dispensing, mixing, and weighing, and use in centrifuge operations. They come in many shapes for specific applications, with a variety of mouth or nozzle shapes and sizes for specific use. Lab bottles are made from materials, such as glass (borosilicate or soda-lime) and an array of plastics, which are selected for chemical and thermal expansion resistance, transparency, and their adaptability in a variety of applications. Lab bottle interiors, caps, and lids are often lined with a protective material. Caps and lids help seal bottles to prevent solutions from spilling. The capacity refers to the fluid amount held by a lab bottle, and is commonly measured in milliliters (mL) and liters (l), and sometimes in ounces (oz). Lab bottles are suitable for use in chemistry and biology applications, as well as in pharmaceutical and scientific testing.

Siphons out liquid with temperature changes!
This bottle was very handy when I was using it... I really liked how it could be used upright by squeezing. What I didn't realize is the change in temperatures overnight would cause the liquids to come out of the straw like a siphon! I cleaned up around the bottle several times until pretty soon there was no liquid left. If you purchase this you may want to cap it somehow or have it in a more stable environment than a garage.

Down to the LAST DROPS!!
I bought the 500ml size. Holding the bottle horizontally, I’m able to squeeze water out until it reaches approximately 175ml, as the bottom of the “straw” is positioned at the center of the bottle bottom. When the squeeze bottle is held upright, I can squeeze every bit of water out except for maybe 4 or 5 drops. This squeeze bottle is PERFECT for watering my trays of little seedlings without having to move the trays! It’s also great for administering small amounts of water to my drought-loving plants! This bottle is easy to squeeze and easy to grip.

Electric Chainsaw Bar and Chain Oil Filler Dispenser
I use this as an Electric Chainsaw Bar and Chain Oil Dispenser. The trick is to search amazon for an 80 Piece Vacuum Cap Assortment. The smallest vacuum cap plugs the end of the dispenser nozzle fairly well.Obviously you have to keep the nozzle clean.... for the cap to stay on but it works quite well. This squeeze bottle allows refilling the chainsaw bar and chain oil tank without any mess or spill at all.No funnel required. All you need is a tiny bit of rag or paper towel because the drip from the nozzle is near non-existant.(in fact, if used carefully, no drip at all)I use it on a Remington RM1025P electric chainsaw.

Doesn’t like Acetone
The straw inside degraded with acetone in the bottle after about 24hrs resulting in a crack that would no longer pull liquid. I just happened to have some plastic refrigerator water line in the shop and it was the correct diameter to fit inside the straw nipple on the cap. Fixed my problem and works great now. Otherwise the bottle has been great.

Garbage
These things are cheap cheap cheap. The plastic is terrible, the mold they used is terrible, the straws literally fall apart inside the bottle. I suggest getting legit ones from a supply company.

Great for watering orchids
I also bought this bottle for watering my orchids. This bottle is great for the 7 orchids I own. I imagine that a larger device would be more practical for someone who needs to water a lot more plants, but this bottle helps to make watering more efficient than what I was using before. This squeeze bottle allows me to control the flow much better and direct water exactly where I want it to go, so now I'll have less chance of crown rot. I really like the angled neck.

A little disappointed that it did leak from around the screw cap
A little disappointed that it did leak from around the screw cap. I used it to pump oil into a small gearbox.Definitely a lot worse when the bottle was turned upside down.

So many uses! An excellent product.
This is a great little plastic squirt container. Especially for the price! I did snip about an inch or two off the "spout" ... because I didn't need it that long.I use it for a special (health-related) squirt soap at my kitchen counter. Of course, It doesn't look too elegant there, but it does the trick. Since the viscosity of my soap is a bit on the thick side, I do have to periodically run the tip under hot water for a few seconds ... to clear the opening.
