They fell apart and wasn’t worth the money

The “thumb-press” jammed every time about midway when attempting to empty the contents from the scoop. Note: I was using it to scoop ground beef for burgers which was not hard/frozen like ice cream would’ve been. But I was still unable to make it work so it is for that reason I felt I had to gave the 1-⭐️However, it’s very possible that the item I received was the only defective product and the remaining items would work properly. However, I didn’t have time to reorder replacements until I received one that worked properly. It is for that reason I’ve given the rating of only 1-⭐️.On the positive side if I was only giving a rating based on shipping/delivery time the1-⭐️ would’ve been 5-⭐️ because the delivery time for the item was very prompt. Unfortunately it just wasn’t my day:(

This exactly what you are looking for..serving icecream, sherbert, sorbet or gelato. I wouldn't recommend it for cookie dough scooping-- I would get a smaller stronger one made of stainless steel for that function

This scoop is solid and serves up frozen ice cream no problem and it’s a good size you get what you want when you use it

Why did no one tell me earlier in my life about using an ice cream scoop for cookie dough? WHY? I have wasted so many years of my life mucking around with sticky dough on spoons!A++, great for scooping cookie dough. I imagine it'd be good for other things, too (like ice cream, I guess). Nice, easy action, not too hard on the thumb. Only downside is that there's really no way to wash the underside of the little scraper/releaser bit other than swishing it well under hot water, as its full range of motion is flush with the scoop.

This is supposed to be 2 oz scoop, it is less than 2 closers to 1.75

It’s held up longer than the other scoops I have tried for scooping cookies of all sorts.
