This lock worked great for my basement glass block hopper vent. Original plastic lock broke off and this new lock is a perfect fit. Also, it works much smoother compare to original.

We had a window that had broken latches. I came onto the Zon and quickly found these replacement latches, made sure measurements matched. Which is a great listing image, to ensure they fit properly. Took 2 minutes to replace, and they latch perfectly. Great product and quick delivery.

I have sliding windows in my three bathrooms which I believe are made by International Window Corp. (IWC). One of the plastic lock assembly levers broke recently and I ordered this part thinking it was an exact replacement. All of the critical dimensions seemed correct: the 2 1/4" hole spacing, the 3/8" projection of the locking arm which keeps the window from sliding open, the 3/4" width and the almost 3" overall length. What I failed to notice was that the holes of the original part are offset from the centerline of the assembly. In the attached photo, the original lock assembly is at top and this Prime-Line F 2590 assembly is below. With the screw holes in the center of the assembly and using the original holes in the window frame, the projection is too far away from the fixed window frame and thus you can't lock the window.If you have a window sash lock with the offset mounting holes, then Prime-Line F 2594 is what you want. I'm returning these and ordering the 2594s.The overall craftsmanship of the lock assembly is good. The metal frame and locking arm is certainly more robust then the original plastic. The metal spring arms inside the frame allows a little bit of play of the lever when it is in the unlocked position, but then again, so does the original plastic one.

Awesome perfect better than original fit was perfect holes lined up perfect and it was metal much stronger than the original plastic ones and it came with new screws that also fit perfectly

My parent's windows were needing these replacement latches. These look to be the same quality as the original ones and fit perfectly. Great price! I will purchase these again if others need replacing.

The dimensions listed are accurate, however I found that the shape of the latch is too angular to rotate into the groove properly and it ends up binding before its fully seated. To fix this, I had to grind some metal away to shape a more defined curve. The red line in my picture shows the curve where I removed metal. After this minor modification the latch works perfectly. It's equal quality to the original.

Used to allow a window to stay open or closed. Works as expected.

It fits my window. Easy to install and good quality. Make sure you measure your old lock before you buy it.
