Just the French section of "Cool World Cooking"
I'm giving this one star because I also bought "Cool World Cooking" and it turns out this book is ripped verbatim from that book, then they charge twice as much because it's hardback. Shameless!

French Cooking for Kids...
I had a hard time finding any information about this book, but I stumbled upon the following review, by Meredith Kiger, Ph.D., which I found to be quite helpful:One from the "Cool World Cooking" series, this title explores the basic aspects of French cooking and provides step-by-step recipes for eight simple but tasty and nutritious dishes to try. Color photos and an appealing layout combine to capture the interest of upper elementary students to try cuisine beyond what they may be used to at home. A brief introduction to France and some basic suggestions for working with food are followed by an illustrated guide to kitchen equipment needed to prepare the included recipes. In addition, an illustrated guide to basic cooking techniques supply novice cooks with the various ways foods will be handled during preparation. Terms such as chop, grate, mince, slice, and so on are described and a photo included. Photos of all the ingredients necessary for the recipes are provided and include those for Provence green beans, pommes Anna, salad Nicoise, onion soup, Croque Monsieur, quiche Lorraine, roast chicken, and berry clafouti. Each recipe lists ingredients, tools, step-by-step instructions and boxed suggestions and photos during and after preparation. Although herbs are introduced as a French ingredient, they are only used in one recipe. French words introduced are phonetically explained on a page near the end of the book. A glossary of terms, sources for further information, an index, and a nice encouragement for preparing simple, healthy food are included. A note to adults is located at the beginning of the book. The most inexperienced cook will benefit from the layout of this book and will be on their way to cooking "French" with these classic recipes.
