High quality, soft, and wash well
Larger size than many other Aden + Anais blankets, which I didn’t realize, but is a great benefit. My kids both sleep with these blankets in their cribs and the muslin material (light to medium weight) keeps them cozy without ever becoming too hot. They wash extremely well and are very soft. This particular print is absolutely adorable.

Swaddling in Style!
Let me just say—aden + anais swaddle blankets are the real MVP of baby gear. These blankets are so soft, I’m starting to question why my own blankets aren’t made out of this magic muslin fabric. If you’re looking for a swaddle that’s gentle on your baby’s skin, breathable, and generously sized, look no further!First, let’s talk softness. These blankets are 100% cotton muslin, and after a few washes, they get even softer—like, how is that even possible soft. Perfect for my baby’s delicate skin, and honestly, I’ve caught myself snuggling up with them a few times. No shame here. The size is also a huge bonus. At 47 x 47 inches, these blankets give you plenty of fabric to master the art of swaddling, whether you’re a first-time parent fumbling with the fold or a seasoned pro. Plus, because they’re so lightweight and breathable, I don’t worry about my baby overheating, which is always a concern with other, thicker swaddles. But here’s the best part—these blankets are so versatile! I’ve used them as swaddles, stroller covers, nursing covers, tummy time mats, and even an emergency burp cloth (because, let’s be real, babies are unpredictable). They are truly multipurpose and worth every penny. The patterns are also super cute and modern, which makes me feel like I’ve got my life together (even if my hair says otherwise). They wash beautifully, too—no shrinking, fading, or getting out of shape, which is a huge plus for busy parents.

Great size, very soft
Soft and a nice big size, so it doesn't feel like using a baby blanket for a toddler. It isn't as heavy as a true quilt, but definitely thicker/warmer than most baby blankets. Perfect for naps at preschool.

Worth It - Even Better than the Hype [Update: Probably the Blankie Linus Had]
Admittedly, I waited until the blanket went on sale - but by this time our need was great. Baby is now a toddler and needs a better blankie at night that isn't too hot or cold - but still snuggly. All the wonderful fleece blankies did great through the winter, but clearly were too hot late spring/early summer. We tried the regular A+A blankets, but it wasn't heavy enough and Baby would get tangled (and wake up mad). We tried quilts which were cooler, but not really snuggly - instead just kind of lying over the top of Baby. So we finally pulled the trigger on the dream blanket. It's better than we could have imagined. First, the size is perfect for toddler, and we can tell it will last into early childhood. It's big enough that it covers Baby and Daddy's lap during story time, but not so big it crowds the crib. The weight is difficult to describe. It's not bulky or heavy, but still heavy enough to drape over Baby in a way that quilted blankets wouldn't. So Baby gets the sense of snuggly security that Baby likes during sleepytime, but not the heat-trapping that fleece provides. Thumbs up from the entire family.[UPDATE] Ok, its more than four years later and my now-kindergartener still uses it. This thing has been well worth the price, and then some. It gets fewer washings because it stays at home (used to be the day-care blankie), but it still holds up. It's showing wear in that it has faded, but nothing is fraying. I'm convinced that this must be the same blanket that Linus has toted around for all those Peanuts years - because it is snuggly and holds up.

Really impressed with this blanket!
I was a little concerned to pull the trigger on this blanket based off others reviews of the blanket pulling out of the seam on first wash but, I have to say I love it! I really wanted this sweet blanket for my newest girl and wasn’t crazy about the price but it went on sale and I was able to get it almost half off! I just washed it, i have a front loader, normal (not gentle) cycle on warm/cold with regular detergent AND SOFTENER with a couple other blankets and I pulled it out to put in the dryer and it’s already snuggly soft zero damaged from the wash. All seams look perfect. My guess is those with pulled seams might be using a top loser with an agitator. The fabric when wet gets tough and I imagine that getting wrapped about the agitator would cause the type of damage they reported. All in all gorgeous design with lots of spring colors to go with just about any pastel palette. It is large (way bigger than I was expecting) it’ll grow with her very nicely and is so soft. It has a nice weight to it without being too heavy.

Wonderful thick and large muslin blanket
My son LOVED his muslin swaddle blankets and they were his comfort item....... as he got bigger he preferred the "thick" 4 layer stroller blanket, but I couldn't find the exact same thing! I bought quite a few trying to find back up/ substitutes for home and daycare. This is our favorite for sleeping! It's a little big for a snuggle comfort blanket (although he will use it for one) but I mostly use it to convert him at night as it's a good thickness and has almost a little weight to it. I'm buying another one as I just noticed it's starting to get a bit worn.
