Delivered on time. Well packaged and well presented. Flavors good. This is the first time I ever made this. I really liked it and my husband enjoyed it too. I added chopped carrots and peas. I also made it with 4 cups of chicken bone broth and 2 cups of water (instead of just 6 cups of water). Needs a little salt for my taste. The only things I was surprised by was the consistency. I was expecting the rice and mung beans to be more intact but they get very soft. Maybe this is how it is supposed to present but since I never had it before, just was a bit surprised. Still very good. A warm, creamy, flavorful dish and I will make it again. Oh, and by the way, the directions say 1 cup of rice and 1/2 cup of beans makes two servings. This makes more like 5-6 servings that so take that into consideration. (See the photo. This is after I had 1-1/2 bowls! Give it a try. If you like Indian food flavors, you will love this and you can add spice to it if you like heat.

Using it as a body cleanse. It's easy to prepare, a nice blend of herbs and it's organic! I dropped 7 pounds in a week and my wife lost 4 pounds. Looking forward to continuing the process.

I made this as directed.. Felt great after eating this for a week.. If you are trying to rest your guts , this is so easy on digestion.

This product is by far the easiest and fastest way to prepare high quality organic Kitchari. It tastes great and you are always can add to it more Gee, salt or any other of the spices that are in the package if you are like me someone who loves his food quite spicy.. I have used Banyan Botanical products for many years and they are a great company in so many ways, including a high level of integrity.

This would be extremely more beneficial if there were specific directions for making this. Better yet would be specific directions for different serving sizes or days of cleansing. Grabbing a random recipe online resulted in me making far too much and throwing away quite a bit of it. Aside from that the product itself was satisfying and I’m glad I purchased it! Looking forward to the next batch!

After 3 weeks in Europe, I wasn’t feeling great. The kit arrived at my home within a few days and was very easily prepared. It was wonderful-everything was supplied & within hours I was feeling “back to normal”. It’s so great to have all the supplies on hand to make when I want. I use 1/2 the recipe-it makes a lot!

I discovered Kitchari after doing a one-week Ayurvedic cleanse at The Art of Living. Kitchari was served three times a day. I noticed when I ate it, my mood and energy levels were stable, and I did not get as hungry in between meals. This is almost like the comfort food of Ayurveda. My entire family also loved eating it. I cooked the Mung beans in my pressure cooker for 20 minutes instead of soaking overnight, and they did great. This is a wonderful value.
