Design Toscano CL6067 Steampunk Skull Containment Vessel Gothic Stash Box Statue, Antique Brass

I seriously can't describe how cool this cyborg skull is. I had it in my cart for months and once it went on sale, it was mine. It's not quite to the size of an adult human skull but probably comes the closest to that on this site. The details are extraordinary. You'll swear that it's metallic just from the look. The gears look crafted and real. This looks like something that one would find after the inevitable War with the Machines (or Butlerian Jihad, for my fellow Dune fans). I've added a photo of the cyborg skull compared to the size of a life size model. Don't let the size dissuade you; this is an extraordinary, unique piece to add to any sci-fi lover's collection.

This did not disappoint. It's a really cool piece. The perfect place to stash you treasures. My 18 year old granddaughter loved it. Definitely worth the price.

This steampunk skull of course isn't for everyone. But for those who like something very different with a gothic/science fiction feel to it, it is perfect. Very well made with a nice heft and the aged metallic finish is multi-toned and really looks good.The top of the skull comes off for those wanting to store something inside -- not sure what is appropriate. Candy seems a little too macabre for my tastes. But the space is there. A nice feature is that the top has two tabs that set in the base so it doesn't slide off yet is easy to lift off. It looks sort of neat without the top in place, too.My son admired it so much I bought another for a present for him.If you like the looks of this, buy it. You'll not be disappointed because it's even better in real life than the pictures.

Some type of epoxy all over every join tho idk what it is bc the piece is supposed to be molded, cheap feeling, extremely lightweight, not as storage friendly inside as measurements suggested to me. Skip this one.

Beautiful! Has a good weight to it and will contain a good handful of candies or whatnot. Unfortunately the box did not fit to it's size and it arrived chipped up.

It’s a really fine piece of art. I have it on my desk.

It was painted very nice and looked pretty cool. However, The casted lip inside, that is supposed to keep it on and centered, was not form fitted. The top cover/skull cap kept sliding off. I would think it's worth a $5 halloween ornament but certainly not worth $35 bucks. They should.Probably sell this messed up mold version as halloween ornaments like I said. And then repair their mold so they could make a head top that will stay on.

This steampunk skull is heavy and solidly built, and the details are brilliant. It comes exactly as shown in the photo. I'm not sure I would use it to put edible items in, however, as the finish has sort of a toxic smell to it. Awesome as a decoration.

Der Schädel ist als Ganzes betrachtet gut verarbeitet. Der Deckel könnte etwas stabiler sitzen stört mich aber nichtweiter. Details sind gut zu erkennen und macht auch einen guten Eindruck am Tisch vor allem wenn man den Deckel öffnet.

L'articolo è arrivato in tempo e ottime, anzi perfette condizioni. Non è il primo articolo che acquisto sul Design Toscano e sono pezzi davvero originali e ben fatti. Dal vivo è ancora più bello!

The skull looks fantastic, even better than on the photo. Unfortunately, it got damaged during delivery and one of the pipes on the side got damaged. I don't know how they managed to damage it, since the package looked secure and there was a thick layer of foam protective plastic inside. Still, fantastic product.
